It felt like I was being welcomed in someone’s home! I’ve walked past The Belvedere Hotel countless times, regrettably unaware of the mouthwatering Greek fare on offer one storey up. With Head Chef Stegios at the helm, diners are taken on a journey to the Mediterranean, where they are welcomed with open arms and treated to a family-style feast of meze and large plates which are shared around the table.
We stumbled across this restaurant by chance, and were immediately taken by the warm welcome and simple, fresh modern decor. But then there was the food! A slow cooked lamb shoulder with lemon potatoes to share, and a side order of greek salad. Delicious and VERY reasonably-priced . Next time I am in Sydney I willbe back!
I thought this little ripper of a Greek Restaurant was amazing . The food was authentic , beautifully prepared and reasonably priced . Try the lamb shoulder and the marinated octopus which were to die for . Will definitely be going back !
