Until couple of years ago we used to eat at this pub fairly frequently but for various reasons had not been for a while. It was, we thought, a pretty reasonable 'pub grub ' place: simple basic meals at a fair price. We were in the area this week and wanted a simple, cheap lunch so called in. Initially we were surprised how few people were there but it was a little late and we thought the lunch rush had gone. The menu seemed more pricy than we recalled but the waitress was friendly and we placed our orders. The food was awful and much of it remained on the plate. We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant! We booked it for our work Christmas party and the booking process was easy from start to finish. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Thank you!
I went back to this restaurant over the weekend for a wonderful Sunday roast with my family. The staff was lovely and the food was amazing. They had a great selection of desserts on the menu, but I was too full to try them this time.
The service was good and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The prices were reasonable. While the steak was not as delicious as our previous visit, it was cooked to our liking. We will definitely return in the future.

We had a fantastic Christmas Day dinner at the Green Dragon. Great food and service from Natasha and the team. It was a really lovely relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely come back again, highly recommended.
