The food is fantastic! I had the shell platter, and the shells were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered a burger and their homemade onion rings, and I can honestly say they were the best onion rings I've ever tasted! They slice their own onions and prepare them right there. The picnic tables outside offer a lovely view of the water, making for a very relaxing atmosphere. We did happen to visit during low tide, which wasn't ideal, but we still enjoyed ourselves. I do wish they accepted debit cards, as it would be more convenient for us city dwellers who don’t always carry cash. They do have an ATM on-site, but it charges a fee for withdrawals.

I 'm giving this place 5 because they don 't serve a buttered lobster roll as a standard menu item. I 'm a lobster purist and I don 't like mayo. They were willing to give me a lobster roll with butter (but the lobster was cold and it was actuallythe best lobster roll I 've ever had in my life. Lobster was perfectly cooked and tender, and that roll was LOADED. I got twomeals out of it (and I will crush a lobster or two with my bare hands any day! . The fried scallops were so succulent and fresh,as were the whole belly clams. This spot is a 100% MUST VISIT if you 're in the area or nearby. Thanks to my friends for bringingme out!
We are not from the area. We decided to come here to get steamed lobsters, fried clam strips and fried shrimp. The food was ready as scheduled. The staff was friendly, having patiently answered several questions before we even placed the order. Weordered food for 7 people and it was correct upon arrival. The portions were generous and the lobster was so fresh, sodelicious, and reasonably priced. The place is geared for take-out but we decided to snatch a picnic table and yes theaccommodations are modest but no regrets here. Even the sweet potato fries were amazing. We may have to go back one more timebefore we leave MA.

The best lobster roll you can find. Meaty, always super fresh, butter brioche large hot dog roll to hold the 12 oz of lobster in their jumbo size. Have gone here for the past 10 years for son's birthday treat. Plenty of tables, and some nicely coveredso out of the sun. Split order of fabulous sweet potato fries. This is a must if you like lobster rolls.

Best lobster place in town. The lobster is fresh, juicy, and they give a huge portion. Pictured is the $35 one. It doesn't come with fries so be sure to ask for em along with an extra buttered bun for that wealthy lobster meat ????

Best fried whole clams and onion rings I've had in my 10 years on the East Coast! The onion rings are crispy, light, and flavorful without any dip. The clams are delicious juicy flavorful all of it.
Now here in a mood for the first time, and this is far and away the best place to get a lobster roll I've ever been! Very recommended!
