This place in Neutral Bay hits the spot for vegan Chinese. The staff are amazing, so friendly and service is super quick. It’s a little expensive and not the best vegan Chinese I’ve had but really good for the area as Neutral Bay doesn’t have many fully vegan places. We had the Shangtung chicken, and I think you have to like wheat meat to enjoy this, but it was yummy! Duck pancakes are really nice as well, but expensive. They have this paper on the plate that’s like grease paper, read it for a laugh, it makes no sense
I was very excited when Green Sprout opened in Neutral Bay as there are not many other restaurants like it around the area. I was ready to try the dumplings as I know they are made fresh in daily, I think however that I am too used to MSG veggies so they lacked a little flavour because they don't use MSG at the restaurant. since we have become vegan, we have missed many Chinese dishes that we used to eat and enjoy. I stumbled over this restaurant on the off channels and we decided to try it after seeing the positive reviews on happy cow. it didn't disappoint! we loved eating it was delicious and tasteful, and it perfectly pampered the food we missed. we were absolutely annoyed to be honest! the portion sizes were also so good, and the next day we brought three boxes leftover to dinner.

The location is absolutely amazing, with beautiful surroundings and exceptionally fast service. There are great menu options and everything tastes delicious. The Mongolian sizzling bark dish is truly unbeatable.
I came here with friends, omni and coeliac. The food was wonderful and everyone was very happy! I would happily come back and eat more of their menu! It can be a little cold in the restaurant so bring a coat.
The Chinese vegan food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious, and now they offer yum cha! My friends and I visit here frequently. It's definitely worth it, and the ambience is beautiful.
