Situated very near to a pair of major Pasadena cross streets, E. Colorado Blvd. and S. Lake Ave., it could be easy to overlook this wonderful eatery because of its somewhat clandestine location on Shoppers Ln. It’s worth finding, trust us! You can also trust a full dining room on a Thursday evening. We had an early reservation and by the time we left around 7, it was quite crowded. Items our trio ordered included: the Mexican Street Corn Flatbread as a starter; a Chicken and Papaya Quesadilla as a main; a Beet, Goat Cheese Arugula salad; and a Ginger Veggie Bowl. I have been going to Green Street with a group of friends for many years. This time, I was surprised by the higher prices. A basic sandwich cost $22 and a single egg was $13.95. Even the popular Diane Salad in the lunch size had a price increase for larger portions. Additionally, the parking fee went up. We liked our meal, but were not pleased with the bill. We may look for a new restaurant for our next get-together. Linda Deutsch.
Service was limited and fair. Any item requested would come about 10 mins late. Food is very average. The Diane Salad has good flavor but to much oil. The steak sandwich is hard to chew Parking in the area is very expensive and no validating of the ticket perhaps next time will go some where else.
We have been coming to this restaurant for over 45 years and it has always been our favorite! We especially love the Diane salad and all of the appetizers. We have never had a dish here that we didn't enjoy.

This is our “go-to” place in Pasadena. We shared a Diane Salad and a bottle of Cambria Chardonnay. Always FANTASTIC. Our server, Jaz, was excellent. She was extremely courteous and helpful.
Been here many times and have never been disappointed. The Diane Salad is a must try. Our server, Alex, was great. A hidden jewel.
Did not realize it was basically situated in an alley/parking garage. Ambience was that of a chain restaurant.
