We were looking to eat out at the Thai restaurant down the road but unfortunately when we arrived they were only taking take out orders even though they are a dine in restaurant. Green Thai Kitchen is definitely more of a take out joint then eat in but we needed our Thai food fix and there were a few tables to eat at and order at the counter. The young man at the counter was actually very hospitable. The food was overall very good and we felt it was a good value for the price we paid. The salad was a good size and the dressings we tried were fresh and tasty. The Thai wings were crispy with a bit of a spice. I wish they came with a homemade dipping sauce but only prepackaged sauce. Our “usual” Thai place was closed, so we decided to try Green Thai. It was disappointing. There was a hair in the Thai peanut bread, so we didn’t eat it. The drunken noodles, pad Thai, and coconut rice were lacking in flavor. The dumplings were probably the best thing we ordered. Our 2yo enjoyed the edamame. We will stick with our usual place from now on.
So upset. The last time we ordered from them the food did not taste fresh. The spring rolls tasted stale. The soup was foul smelling. The thai iced tea I spit out after first sip. It tasted like spoiled milk. Disappointed to say the least. We threw our food out and had tunafish sandwiches as it was too late to order anything else.
