Went for a meal at the buffet restaurant Saturday evening. Bookings are essential. The restaurant staff were great, food was also great value.The RSL itself has gone backwards since the renovations. it is great if you like to gamble your hard-earned money away. The "sports" bar is geared up for the TAB, only 2 pool tables, no dart boards or anything else brought up from the old sports bar.The upstairs bar area is now apparently only for functions, so another once great area is now off-limits.The number of bars and bar area is about a third of what was available prior to the renovations.The kids club is .... well, an eyesore really. Like someone got an oversized box & plonked it in the middle...
We did not have a reservation for this fully packed venue on a Saturday night, but we did arrive before opening time and were seated within minutes by the friendly staff. Purchased one unlimited soft drink ($3.50) and stuffed ourselves on seafood and a variety of other deep fried assortments.The Desert Bar was a miss as it truly lacked temptation and imagination. The Crème Brulee as seen; was merely thick pouring custard with burnt sugar on top – edible but cheap and nasty for what you’re paying here all up – $39.50 non-member FRI & SAT Although the prawns were plentiful, large and fresh they lacked that beautiful sea salty flavour. Booked The Grange for lunch, didnt know what to expect. Had dined here before but a few years ago now. Bit of a wait to get in the door, but a buffet awaited us and we werent disappointed either. A good range of different foods, largely asian aray, but other food including seafood and roasts available, as well of course desserts. Plenty fresh produce and trays replenished quickly and very professionally. Help yourself, just line up-sometimes I expect is not as bad as other times. but even so the line moved quite quickly. It was very nice, very clean and someone on hand at all times to clear away your dirty dishes.
Loved this place, so much to do and see. Very entertaining. Came here for a family function birthday of my little brother turning 50 years. We really enjoyed the friendly hospitality. The service was excellent and ongoing. Big groups here, Other rooms were all booked out as well. We came here in the middle of the day for lunch buffet. The seafood was great and I was impressed with the choices of desserts they had on offer. I have also been here in the past for dinner in the bar area. I will come back as I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Value for money couldn't beat this.

Have been there for dinner twice this month on Tuesday & Wednesday. What a impressive array of food items even Prawns & Mussels on their non seafood nights , The place is spotless, parking really close & if you can't have one of the best pig outs from the selection available you are impossible to please well cooked well presented at a really good price. Book a reservation and you are fast tracked to table on arrival, this place is popular and delays at front desk can occur for those who have not booked. Defiantly recommended for a great meal out. .
We visited after purchasing Groupon vouchers for $20 each. A huge line up at opening time was a good indication it was very popular even at the undiscounted price. There was a great assortment of gastronomical delights for all tastes including some seafood. The grilled fish peices cooked on the BBQ were amazing.Desserts were varied but the panna cotta was a winner.
Had the Saturday Night Seafood Buffet. The service was so good. The food options was fantastic. However the taste left a lot to be desired. Very bland tasteless food. The seafood was ok. But most other options really lacked spark. Desert bar was the pick for quality. Very limited wine selection. All in all an OK experience but could be so much better.
On a whim we wandered off to this place on a Tuesday evening for dinner. Wow, a great menu offering and prices were good. Great service by wait staff, clean tables and meals came out in good time. 6 of us had different meals with no complaints, in fact we were surprized by not only the p[presentation, but flavour.

we have been members for seven years now always spend at least one night per week there the variety of food is great, if you like buffet food there's a wide selection Friday night is sea food night all you can eat. we also like the vast variety of entertainment provided at the club hence we are there often.
The food is excellent. Choose between buffet and set menu. After your meal spend some time playing the pokies or listen to the entertainment. An enjoyable experience.
