During my three-night stay in Marlinton, I ate at this restaurant three times — once for breakfast and twice for dinner. The food and the service were good. They got a little busy during breakfast (after 9 AM), so get there early! The restaurant sits right next to the river, and there are quite a few ducks that stay in the area. For a mere fifty cents, you can purchase a generous bag of corn and feed the ducks. What a hoot! Food drinks: Nothing fancy, but a good variety of filling and delicious choices.
Dropping a 5 star review here because I believe this place is underrated compared to, frankly, overrated establishments around it. The food and service were awesome here and the prices were very reasonable. There is a duck feeding station outside and it just feels like all around the most authentic food joint in Marlinton.
Ate here for dinner the country fried steak was delicious, the beer was cold and in a chilled glass, and the view was unbeatable. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for more. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet, Great value
Decent food, always great service. It's a beautiful spot to sit outside and watch the ducks in the river. Some items on the menu aren't great but their breakfast is our favorite.

Went in for lunch, was fairly busy. Service was great. We both ordered hamburgers and onion rings. Both were delicious, definitely will be back. Nice view overlooking the river
