Visited after reading reviews and wanting to try the whole supper club scene. We arrived at 4pm, the dining room doesn't open until 5, we were informed there was no reservations and they are not taking names. So basically you have to sit up by the hostess stand waiting as the place gradually fills up. The bartender had told us there was no list but he would make sure we got a table since we were one of the first 3 guests in the place. We got drinks and waited. 5pm comes and we are now informed there is a list. Which now has probably 20-30 people ahead of us since basically they knew something we didn't. So we were sitting there until around 5:30 waiting and the bartender finally saw us again...
If you know me, you know I know supper clubs. I have been to the Greenwood a couple of times over the past 20 years. I would have gone more but it's hard to find it open. I only give it two stars because the resturant staff was very nice and the food was decent. What is sad is this place has such great potential. It has a great history. The grounds are beautiful. Good location. A good size dining room. A big bar and the food I had was good. So you ask yourself then what's wrong? Well it's hard to put my finger on it but I don't think it's just one thing. I think it's lots of little things. First the bar. Large but cluttered and dated. Get rid of the video poker machines and the ugly wallpape...
Oh dear, where do I even begin? Tonight was our first visit to the Greenwood Supper Club. Having grown up in Door County, I had heard about this place for years, so my husband and I decided it was finally time to try it out. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. My husband ordered a half-pound Angus cheeseburger, and when it arrived, it was no thicker than a McDonald's hamburger. It came without any lettuce, tomato, onion, or any other toppings. He ended up sending it back. I opted for a light meal, choosing a cup of soup and a salad. The turkey noodle soup had no flavor, and the dinner salad consisted of just iceberg lettuce with a few slices of cucumber. It certainly wasn't worth the $9...
Best perch fish fry in Door County. The walleye was very good too. Their drinks are stiff. Old school Wisconsin supper club. I make sure to hit this spot every time I'm here. The atmosphere is very cool. Lots of wood. Dimly lit bar. Its like you went back in time. Oh and did I say they have the best perch fish fry? I come here multiple times throughout the summer season. What I have noticed is that if you come early in the season, close to when they just opened up from their winter break, their fish fry may be a little off because it takes a week or two to train the fry cooks correctly. But come anytime after mid-may and you will not find a restaurant in Door County that beats the Greenwood...

The scallop dinner featured three delicious scallops, but it felt more suited for lunch than dinner due to the small portion size. The T-bone steak, however, was outstanding and cooked to perfection. As they are a new establishment, it's understandable that they are still adjusting their inventory; unfortunately, they had run out of baked potatoes and Caesar salad, and the selection of dressings was limited. Overall, we look forward to coming back soon to see if these initial bumps in the road have been addressed. The staff were friendly and attentive.
Was excited to try this place and I was very disappointed. My food came to me cold. I asked to have it heated up and they zapped it in the microwave. It was rubbery fish and was not good at all. I did not want to complain because our waiter had so many tables. We got a perch and a walleye fish fry. No soup no salad included. The fish was so small. The walleye only comes w three nugget size pieces..total bill was 56.00. Totally overpriced and under whelming.
I had a great experience at this restaurant and found the food to be quite enjoyable. The classic supper club ambiance was a highlight for us. However, the only downside was that our waiter, Eric, made some inappropriate and unsettling comments.
Another great meal at our favorite supper club! Their prime rib is phenomenal and the fish fry was perfectly battered, not too greasy and super fresh. Great service. Can't wait to visit again in October!

Stopped by on a Friday night in early June to a closed sign stating they were closed until they were fully staffed. Be prepared with alternate plans as they may not be open.
Temporarily Closed 6/2023. No idea why or if they will return. Sad. Maybe Covid killed
