The restaurant “Grenadine” is really a traditional gastronomic establishment in Wahmstraße. So I finally wanted to convince myself in a while to come to lunch whether this can actually be justified by the quality offered here. Outside view. In my opinion, the interior is a first positive point. The lamps reminiscent of tannins provide a welcoming atmosphere as well as green walls and red furniture. The aquarium also fits well into the room design. In the rear area, an outside seat in the courtyard creates even more space. There was nothing to complain about cleanliness and spaciousness of the toilet cabin. Interior view #1. Interior view #2. A young woman took care of the service during this lunch. After a friendly welcome I received free selection in places. In the following she also seemed sympathetic and calm. After my satisfaction, she also enquired. It was also very pleasant that I enjoyed a small exchange of ingredients on the ordered dish and a supplement at the sauce without changing the price. The restaurant is more culinary in a Mediterranean way, with ingredients from the Middle East often on the menu. The offer also includes a daily changing lunch offer from 12 to 15:00 with a selection of 3 dishes that I also realized during the visit described here. For 8 € it should be the couscous balls on colourful salad with pomegranate kernels, yoghurt mint sauce and on my wish a few fried carrots instead of bread. The couscous balls could be cut well (not immediately separated), but at the same time convinces with fine-grained mouth feeling. They were also very well lubricated, with delicate oriental aromas of cumin, cardamon and coriander. Also the small pieces of spring onion and paprika were good. In the leaf salad there were still small Brunoise from zucchini, tomatoes and carrot, which together with the pomegranate seeds provided a matching bite. First, I was disappointed by the very economic use of the yogurt-mint sauce, which was not even perceptible. But the operation took up my demand very friendly and made me a suggestion in a small bowl. So pure was also the successful balance of essential mint and light garlic aroma to taste. Also the potatoes I spontaneously ordered were able to convince, they were really salted, creamy inside and beautiful full-bodied thanks to fried bowl. Overall, I could only praise the kitchen for this dish, also thanks to the service. As a sweet surprise there was even a small bowl of vanilla cream with cherries and chocolate splinters that liked with cool, fruity freshness and chocolate snack. In this price category I did not experience such a “final greeting” and made the restaurant even more sympathetic for me. My personal conclusion to the “Grenadine” restaurant is as follows: The ambience convinced with a cosy style, the service with attentive and relaxed hospitality, and above all the food with preserved craftsmanship and good sense for spices and composition. So the restaurant is not without reason an instance and is absolutely recommended by me after this lunch visit.

Random search with repetition guarantee Where when it sclotter-cold out and presses a chicken, but the favorite café just closes?! We saw this question unprotected until the friend S. suddenly came to the good idea: “Let’s test the place.” Nothing like this: after Grenadine, in the heart of the old town in the jewelleryless Wahmstraße. Your car cannot be parked there, because the city centre of Lübeck has only parking spaces and parking spaces for residents. But for our bikes there is a place, so there is nothing in the way to visit the unknown place. For an evening in the middle of the week the place is very well visited, but we are lucky, and a friendly waiter leads us to a table for four. There we are grateful for the dark red, cozy synthetic leather benches. Menus are served in flight, the decision is quick to flash: we order antipasti plates for 6,90, and hop trays of various manufacturers. The well-kept drinks are on our table in no time and we don't have to wait long for the food. The bright, nice waiter brings us a well-stocked basket with fine-cut multi-grain bread, so to speak as a vanguard, and then the pleasantly large plates are pushed into our field of view with dinner. We are glad, because what we can see is very appetizing. Even after the first careful bites it remains: delicious, the slightly flavored and slightly spicy vegetables are sufficiently high. We sleep and chat and feel comfortable all around. For a time we deal with drawing the delicious Garsud through the slices of bread from our plates, and above all not when it sounds as good as this. mrs.liona is now sadly tired and wants to go home. A short visit to the village: there is nothing to complain here too. In the meantime, the men pay the bill that moves within a completely reasonable framework. Satt and very satisfied we agree: here we want to return soon! Conclusion: Without recommending any restriction.

Short description: excellent – food, drink, service, environment, everything!... 6 pm. we have a table for 2 people in the historic courtyard for a wonderful late summer weather. the greeting is friendly, friendly. I like to receive a smile – and here the smile is real and warm! as narrow as the lübecker Altstadthaus is also the courtyard with garden in the rear part of the property. it greens and flowers, we take place on chairs with seat cushion. Flowering and candle stand on the table, the parasol over us makes it even more domestic. the very tasty spice cards are immediately brought by the cook – what I have read so leaves the water in my mouth. for breakfast fans there are several breakfast options or a breakfast buffet. a lunch is also offered. Now we are in Grenadin in the evening and there are enticing appetizers, salads, vegetarian dishes, tapas, fish, bark, turkey. My choice falls on "filled turkey steak filled with tomato and sheep cheese, with roast potatoes and roasted vegetables" at 12.90 € and a glass of Spanish Chardonnay 0.2 l my friend chooses the "Salat alla Grenadine with somego cheese, roasted vegetables, fruit, nuts, olives and bread" at 11.20 €,80 €, plus a bon red it tastes as delicious as it looks! I am totally excited about the juicy meat, the sweet and interesting spicing that is prepared on site. visually and tastefully a perfect one. also my friend swarms over her salads in the highest tones – we are both full of beings. the operation is carried out by chef mesut tüzer, sovereign, polite and cordial. I rarely gave 5 perfect stars!

A Sunday breakfast in this place is always an experience. The buffet offers a wide range of in-house specialties. These include homemade bread and rolls, salads and other specialties from German and Turkish cuisine. You almost feel on holiday. In beautiful weather there is also a cozy terrace. The operation in this memory is very attentive. The coffee cup never seems empty. Very recommended.
