The service was impeccable for such a small order, and we talked to the owner about our party plans. She was extremely excited about our plans and eager to work with us. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Gönnheim last week! We were welcomed with open arms (including our dog, who was split with love and treats by the entire staff! . The room was nice, great value for money, and perfectly good for the deep sleep we fell into after a fantastic meal. It being asparagus season, we had truffled asparagus salad with home smoked salmon and creamy asparagus soup. As mains we had asparagus with new potatoes and hollandaise sauce and a fabulous rack of lamb with polenta. FABULOUS! Was in Gönnheim for a few days and stayed in the hotel attached to the Restaurant, rooms are very large very clean and very comfortable!,! I thought that was the good bit until My Wife and I ate in the Restaurant. WOW!!! Cannot have been better treated by the Service personel, Friendly and Knowledgeable and welcoming ,The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very nice to sit in, lots of space between the tables so you have your personal space.
