We are just returning from a three night stay at Greshornish House Hotel and a truly wonderful and very luxurious mini break at this marvellous hotel. From start to finish, all staff could not have been more helpful and very professional although at the same time, being very friendly and going above and beyond. The location is perfect for a true getaway and the hotel itself is very well maintained and in scottish/classic design; stunning dinning room, bar, lounge area with huge wooden fire and billiard room all to enjoy. Our room, Mull, was perfect and so clean and well equipped. Beautiful 4 poster bed and it had just been fitted with a lovely new beige carpet and stunning dark wooden furnit...
My friend and I ate here for our final night in Skye. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We had two waitresses as one was training and both were excellent. They always made sure we had anything we might need. The vibe is upscale but relaxed. The restaurant was pretty quiet when we were there which was nice because I hate crowded loud restaurants. It picked up a little as the night went on. It was a little bit of a drive from our B&B near Uig and it is on one of the many single lane roads on the island. Definitely recommend for nice night out with friends or for couples. Oh my friend had the french martini and it was phenomenal, a must try.
The comfort, rooms, and location are all excellent at this place, but the restaurant is a letdown. The evening meal tries to cater to all tastes with burgers and fancier dishes, but the prices charged do not match the quality of the food. The real comedy came during breakfast, where a full Scottish breakfast was advertised with haggis and local Scottish sausages, but when I ordered it, I was told there was no haggis or sausage available. The communication between the chef and waitstaff seemed lacking, resulting in a disappointing and somewhat amateur experience. In the end, the laughs outweighed the disappointment, but overall, a mixed experience.
Food was nice but staff were rude and condescending. We requested an item to go for a relative who was not well and were laughed at by the waiter. After they reluctantly agreed he then loudly shouted the wrong order to the chef in-front of us, most likely to make it further known that he was not happy with our request, (he didn’t shout anyone else’s order to the chef… . When we clarified the order he was rude and dismissive. Service prior to this was very slow. Whilst a waitress spent 20mins chatting with another table who had received their orders we were waiting for our drinks orders to be taken and plates to be removed. Would not recommend.

we stayed in the hotel and enjoyed dinner during our stay. friendly and professional staff served us and delivered excellent drinks recommendations. they were also incredibly helpful to prepare a vegetarian meal that was not on the menu for my wife (which does not like mushrooms) they and my dishes were fantastic! we enjoyed our meal intensively before we get into the rest next to the log fire for our night capsule. many thanks to the chef and the staff that they are so courteous and talented! bravo!
I visited the hotel for afternoon tea with friends to celebrate a big birthday. Keeley made the booking easy as she was super friendly on the phone. The tea was fantastic lovely food, cakes and tea on tap and once again Keeley’s lovely nature shone through making the whole experience even more special. Thank you Greshornish x
This is one of our most incredible experience in Scotland ! A far far away hotel in the majestic Ile of Skye. This hotel is fabulous, the location too. Very cosy and warm welcome. The restaurant is fantastic and the staff very kind and helpfull. You should definetly go there !
After navigating around the potholes on the small roads leading up to it, you will discover a hidden gem! Although a bit pricey, the portions were generous and the quality and flavor were exceptional. The staff were charming and welcoming without being overbearing.

Wonderful stay here. The room was cozy and had everything that you needed. The restaurant/food was amazing. This was by far the best meal had in Scotland. Highly recommend.
