Grey Horses Inn - Réservation de table

We had been visiting The Grey Horses for about a year each week and were happy to pay for the average and expensive food as it is the only pub in the village serving food. The staff were previously quite friendly and efficient. The owner/manager started to do the waiting on and that is when things changed. He was rude, unfriendly and very unwelcoming the last few times we were in. The food which was previously ok now left a bad taste…. Please avoid- unless you fit in with the local clique

Local pub, local beers, local flavour. Chris and Sally are the best landlord and landlady that a local village pub could ever ask for, and the range of 5-8 real ales that they constantly rotate is a testiment to their popularity. Last but not least, the food available is second to none; tasty, plentiful and good value for money. As an additional note, the beers are often from Welbeck Brewery, an award-winning local brewer.

The food at this restaurant is excellent. They offer a wide variety of options on their menu and specials board, all of which are well cooked and nicely presented. The fact that it is always busy speaks volumes about its popularity. I highly recommend trying their Sunday lunch.

We go here quite often for a drink and go weekly for food! It’s lovely, a really nice family run pub, all the staff are friendly and it’s a lovely atmosphere. Garden is really big so good for the summer and having a drink!!! Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant is extremely overrated and too expensive for the quality of the dishes. It was unbearable to endure the loud music, if you can even call it that. It was not at all what we would consider music.

I recently discovered this amazing restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. My husband particularly enjoyed the real ale. We will definitely return in the future.

Really good local pub, no frills, nothing fancy, just excellent beer, and really good food. Proper chips and a good range of specials. What else could you want in life
