Very good home produced food my favourite is steak and Stilton pie or indeed any of the steak pie variants. Range of great beers , changed regularly My recent favourites have been Wainwright's and Welbeck brewery Burning Firedog , better than Murphys

Absolutely wonderful Christmas dinner here with our family. We were so well looked after, the food was delicious and great portions! Service was excellent, the lady serving us couldn’t do enough for us. It was magical, thank you!

We go here quite often for a drink and go weekly for food! It’s lovely, a really nice family run pub, all the staff are friendly and it’s a lovely atmosphere. Garden is really big so good for the summer and having a drink!!!

Really good local pub, no frills, nothing fancy, just excellent beer, and really good food. Proper chips and a good range of specials. What else could you want in life
