Griffin Inn - Réservation de table

Not been here for years and called in on impulse on the way home from a day out, for Sunday dinner. Didn't expect too much after reading the reviews but so glad we decided to try it for ourselves. It was just before Christmas and they were clearly very busy and probably pushed for staff (Covid) but everything seemed to run like clockwork. Friendly and efficient staff. Sunday dinner was served on hot plates, in a timely manner and was delicious. Plenty of it too! We've been back again since and enjoyed it just as much. We'll be back.

I visited a few weeks ago and returned on Thursday. We were warmly welcomed and the food was delicious and served piping hot. We didn't have to wait long for our meals, and drinks were promptly brought to our table. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, complete with real candles that added a lovely touch. The staff was attentive and very friendly. I can't wait to go back! I also appreciated the small additional amenities like hairspray in the impeccably clean ladies' room. This is hospitality at its best!

What an absolute delight! From the warm greeting to the bar service, drink selection, atmosphere, and attentive service – everything was top-notch. The menu offered a great variety, and the meal quality exceeded my expectations, all while staying within reasonable budget standards. Many thanks to the wonderful staff for creating such a beautiful environment and providing such fabulous quality food!

We went for lunch yesterday took our dog, Holly, with us. The garden was so nice in the sunshine clean tidy, patio furniture with cushions parasols. Holly enjoyed the fuss, treats and water they provided. Our waitresses, Jess Caitlin, were so friendly made sure we had everything we wanted. The food was really tasty and fresh. It was so relaxing just soaking up the sun and seeing happy faces. Réservez une table maintenant

I took my son and grandson for lunch, on arriving we was met with a very helpful young waiting on staff, we was seated in a lovely place. Plenty of room. We ordered our food and didn't wait long for it to come, it was lovely and hot and well presented, we all enjoyed the food and will certainly be calling back in the future, would recommend the Korean chicken was beautiful, Thank you

This is our favourite place to eat and always have great food. Unfortunately on this visit we both had to complain about our meals. The Manager could not have been more gracious and nice to us and we didn't pay for our food. Jamie and Harry who served us were lovely and friendly and we both feel this was definitely a one off experience and will be visiting again soon.

Delicious food! We started with mushrooms in a delicious telton and pepper sauce, followed by gammon, which was served with triple-cooked chips, pineapples, and more of that pepper sauce, along with a delightful round and cola glaze. I was too full for dessert, but I can't wait to come back! A big thank you to Shaunna and Stacey! x

Date night with the hubby. we have not booked, but we are welcomed sitting right away Roman, cozy environment, refurb is excellent. from the set menu. wonderful eating, great service, has really enjoyed our visit. we will visit defo again, for date nights with family x Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent food at modest prices served by great staff. It was table service only, but our order was taken promptly. The waiting staff were always on hand when needed. Highly recommended

The staff was friendly helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The service was excellent and the food was delicious a very enjoyable night.
