We recently visited The Griffin for lunch, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The beef crumpet starter was a deliciously unique choice, and both the duck breast and lamb mains were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. To finish, the sticky toffee pudding was simply amazing and a highlight of the meal. The restaurant is set in a lovely atmosphere with a welcoming and attentive team. The food here is very good. I'd argue the starters are a little pricey for size, but all the food is very tasty . Been twice already this year and will return next year. This was one of the best Sunday roasts that we’ve eaten in recent memory delicious food and great service. We loved the cosy atmosphere and the contemporary decor the team were friendly and service was good. Will be returning for sure! Great food, great atmosphere and tastefully decorated. Cosy open fire and festive atmosphere when I celebrated with friends. Lovely staff who are very efficient and friendly. Eggs florentine was beautiful this morning!
The restaurant has undergone an excellent refurbishment, creating a very stylish and inviting atmosphere. The food is fantastic, and I highly recommend the Thai Fish Curry – it's absolutely delicious!
I haven't dined here since it opened because it seemed very inconsistent. However, it has a great ambiance for drinks!
