Griff's Haltom City

Delish!. I hadn't eaten at a Griff's in many years, and I was hoping they'd be as good as I remembered. I was not wrong! I got the combo #1 double giant cheeseburger, large fries, large drink for less than $7. Bargain! The fries were crisp perfect. The burger was a greasy delicious juicy mess of flavor! I don't know about those reviews in August that complained of the burgers being dry. My burger was juicy and flavorful! I needed several napkins eating it. The lovely woman at the drive thru was just as sweet as could be and made sure to give me lots of ketchup packets and napkins. My only wish is that they'd make a Griff's closer to my house!!

Old Time Greasy Burger Joint. My buddies Greg and Tony turned me on to this eatery after a long day of fishing. Toothless attendants and plasma donors from across the street gave this place character. I had their double meat with cheese and fries. Great no frills greasy flavorful burger at a great price. A guy eating told me he comes to get his Griff's fix every time after he donates plasma at the plasma center. It is better than Kinkaid's and much cheaper.

My husband absolutely LOVES this place. He's been eating Griff's burgers for 30 years. Of all the local joints in HC this is his choice. I think they are decent burgers. They got our order correct and in a timely manner! Bonus: they didn't burn the bacon like sonic on 377 always does! For the price though, I would rather have a big mouth burger at Chili's or drive a little further to OC Burger!

The food here is typically good. Great American style burgers, loaded with grease and flavor, at good low prices. The staff is questionable, and the quality/ service can vary from time to time.

I needed a handle. The one we usually go to Irving is still being rebuilt. Food and service, great. Note that there is a smoking zone. Didn't expect that.
