When the restaurant in our hotel could not accommodate us, we were recommended to try the Courtepaille Steakhouse which was only a short walk away. This is pretty much a typical decent chain restaurant similar to those found now worldwide. The service was friendly and efficient and we got by with a mixture of English and French on both sides. The food and drink were good but my partner's main dish could have done with being a bit warmer. Five sides were available and there seemed to be no limit on how many you could order. Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant aujourd'hui et nous l'avons choisi en fonction des avis ici sur TripAdvisor. 4 enfants et 2 adultes. Et nous avons été tellement déçus. Nous n'avons jamais eu de nourriture aussi insipide auparavant. Le steak que j'ai commandé médium est arrivé cru. J'ai dit au serveur, et ils l'ont simplement remis sur le barbecue et sont revenus avec le même plat à nouveau. Et il était toujours cru. Nous avons choisi de payer l'addition et sommes allés chez McDonald à côté pour un dessert et personnellement j'ai pris un burger, car la nourriture dans ce restaurant n'était pas mangeable. Nous n'y retournerons jamais. Peu importe si on nous payait pour cela !!!
Restaurant propre et personnel accueillant. Notre français est médiocre et la serveuse ne parlait pas anglais donc nous avons réussi à commander tout ce que nous attendions sauf que je ne comprenais pas pourquoi nous ne pouvions pas avoir le menu spécial même s'il semblait être disponible un jeudi soir, peu importe puisque c'est de notre faute de ne pas bien parler français! Nous avons séjourné au Novotel à proximité et sommes allés au restaurant à pied (moins de 10 minutes). La nourriture était moyenne pour le prix.

In a party of 8 dining in the evening.Mostly offered meat dishes, but had a good variety on the menu.Most meat was offered off the grill, which was the centerpiece of the restaurant, but it seemed that you got you meat cooked the way the busy waitress wanted, and not you! Shame really, as the burger I had was very good.
We were in Rixheim for an overnight stay and wanted a restaurant that served quality food. Courtepaille is friendly and good value for money, both my partner and I really enjoyed our food and the service was both fast and friendly. Definitely worth visiting, highly recommend.
This restaurnt is near to the ibis hotel and serves mainly grilled meat. quality is very good although the prices are not cheap. The waiter recommends the most expensive choice but all the others are also good
The food was really good and it was served pretty fast. I like that you can choose 2 side dishes for each main dish that you serve. Also they have great menu offers (e.g: main dish + drink + dessert).

A good eatery no frills no bells and whistles nice food good service all very friendly fairly close to the Ibis and next door to McDonalds
