Came here for the first time and I’ll definitely come back. Came on a little getaway trip with my girlfriend and stopped in at Gritty’s for dinner. My girlfriend and I had a Moscow Mule which was one of the best I’ve had. I ordered a shepard’s pie and my girlfriend ordered the chicken burrito. The Shepard’s pie was delicious!!! I had some of my girlfriend’s chicken burrito and that was tasty too! The sweet sauce on the burrito was like a sweet and sour sauce but it was really good. Everything was great here. The only down fall was when we ordered our food. My girlfriend had ordered the burrito with no peppers and onions which came out correct but they put jalapeño peppers in it. The menu doe...
Not sure if they were short staffed or having a bad night or what was going on, but our lobster corn chowder had zero lobster in it. Not exaggerating, it was definately left out. They did take it off, so that was nice of them. Soup of the day was cream and it had broken and was like paste not eaten but paid for and our pizza we took to go which was pretty pricey had barely any toppings and was missing one we had ordered and paid for and was super over cooked. I hadn't been in a while and I used to love it there. Hoping it was just an off night. Our service was good, server super nice, but not really going to go out of my way to go back anytime soon after paying $125.00 for that experience.
Ordered one of specials—these are their best foot forward? Sirloin steak with mushroom risotto. Ordered steak med rare. Steak was a thin chewy thing with not a hint of moisture, cooked on the well done side of medium, not a hint of pink. I swear it was top round steak. Mushroom risotto was mushy, pasty. One slice of mushroom found in the whole sticky pile. Vegetable side was roasted cauliflower, a tad overcooked so it was jiggly. Food didn’t taste bad, just poorly cooked, just dull. Sigh. Staff were nice.
Worst burger I have ever eaten. I ordered it medium and it was well well done with crispy black edges. My margarita was served in a pint glass with the cheapest, premade sour mix that tasted about 6 months old. Needless to say I will not be back. What a terrible experience.

We had a great visit this weekend! We enjoyed the fried mushrooms, cobb salad, cajun fish chips and blueberry ale. Our server, Christopher was so nice and friendly. Looking forward to returning again when we're in the area.
Great food and excellent beer! It's definitely worth a visit! I really appreciate that they always have one beer on cask!
Didn't try the food, but it was a decent enough bar. My husband said his old fashioned was great.
Had a wonderful dinner and the staff was sooo nice you felt like you were part of the family
