The boss “Kari” was extremely rude, he shouted at our friends before I arrived with my fiancé . We came to the table which our friends already had, Kari stopped us at the entrance and started yelling at us “that we should come together”. The whole lunch was ruined. However my extremely offended fiancé got revenge later, when we walked into the kitchen and told him that “he’s not a man”. He spoke English at the beginning but then claimed that he didnt understand English when there was an issue.
Not bad slope side pit stop for lunch. We hadn’t booked (early Feb) and got one of the last tables at 12 noon. Good, if brisk, service we had goulash soup (4/5), a mixed salad (3/5) and a croute jambon et Fromage (2.5/5). The latter was nice but was undercooked in as much as the cheese was barely melted. Not the Valaisan way! We were in and out in 20 mins which felt almost hurried. Overall, nice, but could do better.
This restaurant is only accessible if you ski or walk in but is worth the effort. The staff were unbelievably welcoming, the white gluhwien amazing and the view wonderful. Arriving after 11 in winter ensures the sun was covering the deck and made for a great respite from the slopes. We stopped here almost daily whilst on the slopes and will most definitely return should we visit Saas Fee again
We enjoyed a delicious lunch in this pretty chalet while skiing in Saas Fee. The soup was flavourful, the goat cheese salad very tasty and so was the cholera dish. The creme schnitte was fabulous! All of them were beautifully presented. Welcoming staff. Would definitely come back! Réservez une table maintenant
Beautiful place. Very nice service, deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately the boss is the unfriendly person in Saas Fee and we will never visit this restaurant again.
Brilliant. Best we found on the slopes. Gotta walk there from the village or ski-in. Great food and service. Queues at lunchtime.
So expensive but so good food. The Rösti is second to none. Hamburger superb. Staff pretty rude but what can you do??
