Grosvenor Fish Bar has everything to be an icon of Norwich. Franken I am not a fan of fish and chips because the typical versions are just a carb loaded fat affair. Nevertheless, this place let me see what good quality fish and chips could be. Our table ordered cod, squid and tuna. I am not a fan of bland white fish, but the possibility of having the fat tuna as an option was Godsend for me. My favourite Fish and Chip restaurant in Norwich! Last visited here the first week of December, the Christmas Dinner special was absolutely 10/10, would be happy to have it all year round if it were available. But of course, the fish and other specials are cooked to perfection! The takeaway option is great for convenience, but sitting in is always a nice and comfy experience down in the 'bunker '. Fantastic service with a fantastic atmosphere and food. 5* will continue to visit here for my fish and chips fix as I have done for years!

If eating in, would not recommend the downstairs dark dungeon unless you are a natural cave dweller. These is some seating with daylight in the seating area next door if you're lucky.

This is the best fish and chip shop in Norwich. I tried the Krusty Crab Po burger and chips, and it was incredible. The portion of chips was huge and we were able to eat downstairs at no additional cost. The dining area had a fun and quirky atmosphere.
