Grotto Della Valle

the grotto of the valley can be easily reached from a maroggia along the river mara. the grotto is built against a rock and is located in the middle of the green with the river a few meters. Even in the evenings, or days, very hot you find yourself very well. salumeria and cheeses of the region are of excellent quality and the myrco is also a very competent winemaker. a winning combination then! excellent is the value for money. the sympathy and kindness of the staff and of the "cuciniera"... as the Piedmontese would say.

we returned to this beautiful grotto to spend a few hours in these very hot days. We had lunch very well. A home cooking but well maintained and tasty. From the menu offer, we chose some boned veal holes with homemade noodles. To say that it was a clear choice is little. Excellent desserts. A very good choice of wines, seen that the owner is an expert in the field. Right prices. It is worth trying this kitchen. The grotto is well kept and it is a pleasure to visit us every now and then. we stayed in this typical grotto after having made contact with the staff, because, since my partner is in an interesting state can eat only a few things. to her have prepared a risotto with the vegetables of biblical size, I made a mixed grilled: luganiga, sausage and arrosticini, with the dressing of fried potatoes and watered by a glass of red. The price is only painful, which has also been very good for the area. Excellent location, near a stream.

for a family holiday, we wanted to try again the professionalism of this grotto, having with us 2 vegan family. He's got everything straightened out as we expected. We all ate, according to our gorges, well-kept dishes and cooked very well,to total satisfaction. Prices in standard. Strangely, this grotto is never fully complete, at least the times we've gone. recommended by the lady who rented us house, in three we ate some tagliatelle with butter that we corrected with the sauce of the braised, very good 3 means of wine and 3 slices of tart (not very fresh) a little expensive but overall not bad, I would have expected something more

na yes - the tessin offers hundreds of much better guided and, above all, much cheaper grottos! the completely unknown and inedible beer ( ungenbräu) is a garant for uneasy! tessiner weine is in vain ...

I wouldn't repeat it but to go once this ok. good food but don't taaaan good prices. there are better barbers!
