"The Grotto is just at the river Ticino with a small beach. Amazing location! We went back to this Grotto after many years. The food was very nice and typical to the region. The staff was very friendly. We recommend!"

This place is really amazing. Very well kept Grotto, beautifully located at the Ticino river above a tiny sandy beach. Food was excellent and freshly prepared (we had risotto di zucchine con burrata di Faido , and a wonderful trout). There are only local products on the menu, even the wines (try their biodynamic housewine from the local winemaker very genuine). Great coffee and home made cakes very friendly service. We 'll come back for sure!
Perfect to relax and have some good wine and great food from the region. The Grotto is beautifully situated near a river with a tiny, neat beach. There is a selection of excellent dishes freshly prepared and more refined than in other Grotto type restaurants. We have come several times during our holiday and tasted home made gnocchi, risotto, trout and vitello tonnato . Thank you also for the friendly service!
Simply wonderful! Fantastisch schön gelegen am fliessenden Wasser mit kleinem Strand, total freundliche Gastgeber, seeehr feines Essen und einfach nur schön. Wir kommen wieder! Beautiful location alongside a river with a little sandy beach. Great food, very friendly host. Must go there, even just for a wonderful Capucino!
