Grotto Pizza - Réservation de table

The service from our waiter was excellent, but I had a disappointing experience with my meal. I ordered the chicken parmesan and waited about 20 minutes for it to arrive, only to find that it was overcooked and so burnt that I couldn't even cut it. I sent it back, but after another 25 minutes, I received a dish that was just as bad, if not worse. It's important to note that the restaurant wasn't busy at all during this time. When I asked to speak with the manager, she had a poor attitude, which only added to my frustration. Additionally, they mistakenly served my mother-in-law's children's pizza to the wrong table, so we had to wait another 10 minutes for a new one to be prepared. Overall, I...

We got seated and sat for more than 10 mins and did not get served. We are a family of 3 with a 6 year old who came hungry and were sat at the bar area. Another customer came in after us and got sat right away and asked what he wanted to drink. It's beyond my understanding why the service was unattended with poor customer service. We often come here during our vacation but this day was piss poor service. There are plenty of restaurants here that will be happy to provide wonderful service and we are happy to overly tip for superior service. Very disappointed.

When going to Rehoboth beach, you need to go to Grotto's pizza. Sam was our waitress, and she was excellent and attentive to our needs that we went back a second night and asked for her again. She was super sweet and willing to help whatever the request!! The pizza was awesome, the caprese salad was amazing with that balsamic glaze, and the loaded fries with gooey cheese and bacon came to the table still smoking hot!! A must see when on the beach!!

I can only give this restaurant 2 stars because it was clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. The fries were cold, which I consider one of the worst mistakes any restaurant can make. Fries should always be hot and crispy, not soggy and cold. Additionally, the meatball sandwich was not well made either. Since the restaurant wasn't busy during my visit, there really was no excuse for these issues. Réservez une table maintenant

Grotto's never disappoints! A beach pizza tradition for us every time we are down at Delaware shore. Always awesome pizza and other menu items are very good as well. Can't get enough of their pizza! If you've never been you need to go, you won't be disappointed!!! ?? Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
