In advance; this is a nice grotto with food of very good quality. The price performance ratio vor the main dishes is therefore ok. Not coherent, however, is the overall package. The price of CHF 9.50 for a liter of mineral water is a rip off for a grotto. With a consumption of six people of over CHF 420. not even a free Limoncello or Grappa is given. If one orders then one of the house brand, one is likewise quite astonished with the account. Quite apart from the communication problems with the serving person and the toast Valle Maggia belonging to the meat tartare, which is never brought to the table despite requests. Andato con un 'amica per mangiare qualcosa. Ma siamo rimasti piuttosto delusi,Il posto bello, non fosse per una capanna di legno e panchine in cemento che del grotto hanno ben poco, anche se questo ci può stare. Un vino merlot, troppo caldo e un affettato misto che purtroppo non mi ha convinto;la carne secca buona ma il prosciutto crudo affumicato e la mortadella spessa come una fetta di pane,non so... saranno gusti.Poi un formaggino alla griglia... che purtroppo non filava...però il roast-beef con la salsa d'arrosto al posto di una buona tartare?( magari fatta in casa)non mi sembra il caso.Peccato, ma di grotto ha solo il nome e di ticinese gli alberi attorno
Das Essen war sehr gut und fein abgeschmeckt. Das Rinderfilet war perfekt gebraten und sehr schön angerichtet. Uns persönlich hat dazu eine Sauce oder Kräuterbutter gefehlt. Auch Vorspeise und Dessert waren lecker und frisch. Jedoch kam es zu einem Zwischenfall, welcher uns den Aufenthalt vermiest hat. Die Tochter der Chefin hat uns den falschen Hauptgang serviert, die Chefin hat uns die Teller sehr aufgeregt weggeräumt und ihre Tochter lautstark angeschrien und sie dann auf dem Weg in die Küche geschlagen. Tragisch wenn man so einen Umgang mit seinem Personal hat, auch wenn es die eigene Tochter ist.
Wir haben beiden den Hamburger genommen. Diese war fantastisch! Einer der besten Burger, die ich je hatte! Präsentiert wurde uns dieser in einer Holzbox, in welcher er geräuchert wurde. Der Geschmack des Burgers war eine gute Kombination zwischen Senf, Chutney und gutem Käse. Auch das Fleisch was Top Qualität. Draussen ist es sicher auch gut zum Essen, leider konnten wir dies Wetterbedingt nicht . Wir sind leider etwas spät zum Essen eingetroffen, wurden aber noch ohne Murren bedient Danke. Finiti qui per caso...per mai più tornare. Di ticinese ben poco...forse le tazzine per il vino, peraltro di qualità medio / bassa (abbiamo preso il merlot).L'affettato misto vale solo per la carne secca, il resto medio, esclusi i cetriolini che erano immaginabili.Il roast beef con la salsa per arrosto? Ma anche no...In Ticino ci sono grotti decisamente migliori!
Era tanto tempo che non ci andavo più. Direi che la qualità è addirittura migliorata. Soprattutto nella presentazione dei piatti. Sempre ottimi il roastbeef e il girello arrosto. In queste serate di calura è piacevolmente fresco grazie al ruscello che scorre accanto. E' anche vero che il cibo proposto non è propriamente da grotto ma comunque siamo stati bene.
Ambiente molto carino all'aperto e sotto le piante, grotto tipico. Cibo buono, nella media...senza lode senza infamia appunto.Ho mangiato un roastbeef (buono) con l'insalata di patate come contorno, preceduto da un formaggio dell'alpe (mediocre). Bevuto vino della casa, acqua e un caffè. Il mio amico, stesso menù. CHF 100.- di fattura totale.
Nice place, pretty empty on an early Saturday evening in late October (we were alone, only after 8pm some people came too). Kid portion was huge and tasty, our risotto with mushrooms was tasty and plated very elegantly. Local wine was OK. I'm sure that it has to be amazing in the summertime, because the garden looks beautiful. Réservez une table maintenant
