In advance; this is a nice grotto with food of very good quality. The price performance ratio vor the main dishes is therefore ok. Not coherent, however, is the overall package. The price of CHF 9.50 for a liter of mineral water is a rip off for a grotto. With a consumption of six people of over CHF 420. not even a free Limoncello or Grappa is given. If one orders then one of the house brand, one is likewise quite astonished with the account. Quite apart from the communication problems with the serving person and the toast Valle Maggia belonging to the meat tartare, which is never brought to the table despite requests. Das Essen war sehr gut und fein abgeschmeckt. Das Rinderfilet war perfekt gebraten und sehr schön angerichtet. Uns persönlich hat dazu eine Sauce oder Kräuterbutter gefehlt. Auch Vorspeise und Dessert waren lecker und frisch. Jedoch kam es zu einem Zwischenfall, welcher uns den Aufenthalt vermiest hat. Die Tochter der Chefin hat uns den falschen Hauptgang serviert, die Chefin hat uns die Teller sehr aufgeregt weggeräumt und ihre Tochter lautstark angeschrien und sie dann auf dem Weg in die Küche geschlagen. Tragisch wenn man so einen Umgang mit seinem Personal hat, auch wenn es die eigene Tochter ist.
Simple and family-friendly place. Nice and tasty dishes. However, the bitter taste in the mouth was left by the bill, which was decidedly high for what was consumed. The risk of having a surprise at the end of the dinner is always present when you order dishes not shown on the menu with the price list, but I think that 48 francs for a goat dish was really in bad taste. Even in light of the 73 francs required for the entire menu with two starters, two desserts and coffee. In the end we still spent 72 francs each, but without the consumption of trout, dove and coffee Bitter.
Wir haben beiden den Hamburger genommen. Diese war fantastisch! Einer der besten Burger, die ich je hatte! Präsentiert wurde uns dieser in einer Holzbox, in welcher er geräuchert wurde. Der Geschmack des Burgers war eine gute Kombination zwischen Senf, Chutney und gutem Käse. Auch das Fleisch was Top Qualität. Draussen ist es sicher auch gut zum Essen, leider konnten wir dies Wetterbedingt nicht . Wir sind leider etwas spät zum Essen eingetroffen, wurden aber noch ohne Murren bedient Danke. Nice place, pretty empty on an early Saturday evening in late October (we were alone, only after 8pm some people came too). Kid portion was huge and tasty, our risotto with mushrooms was tasty and plated very elegantly. Local wine was OK. I'm sure that it has to be amazing in the summertime, because the garden looks beautiful.
