Grounded Cafe and Eatery

I just recently moved to this area, Cottam. It's amazing and such a difference from where I left, the 12 hour drive (north!) away. No comparison. When my 5 year old son and I walked in, we were heartily greeted and immediately felt so very welcome. My boy loved the generous portion of kid's French Toast and my 2 egg breaky (with lovely homefries and exquisite coffee!!!) was beyond perfect!!! A few days after, I tried another restaurant for breaky but couldn't get out of my head, our great experience and the tastey food of the Grounded Cafe and Eatery. I'm lucky this wonderful place is so near our home!!

This restaurant is located in the neighborhood and offers affordable drinks in a trendy setting. However, I have found the vegan options to be disappointing. While it is vegetarian-friendly, the vegan choices seem to be added on as an afterthought.

If your in the county and looking for a nice restaurant for breakfast or lunch you can't beat the grounded cafe in Cottam , we have been there multiple times and have never been disappointed!

Cass Cafe is a staple for Wayne State students, and for good reason.
