Pretty standard looking neighborhood coffee shop. It kept us coming back here for several times since we were visiting from out of town. I've had their espresso tonic, cappuccino, and latte. They're all good. Their food is delicious, I love their vegan avocado toast and tofu scramble. My friend said he liked their breakfast sandwich and even ordered one to take on our flight home. Would recommend if you live in this area especially their food offerings if you've only tried their coffee. The portions are good too
My order was called and I got up (which I’m right in front of the counter). She cashier and barista let’s the person who ordered my same order take mine then tells me “it’s okay I’m making another one”… when I first placed my order I mentioned I’m visually impaired so I stayed close to the counter for that reason. You would think they accommodate for people with disabilities especially when told ahead of time. Not a disability friendly business at all. My tip went towards noting.
Waited 45 minutes for 2 omelettes with hashbrowns. Omelettes were small, ham was sliced up lunchmeat and the hashbrowns were so salty they were inedible. The female staff person emptying the garbage went straight to touching clean silverware and then to serve our food without washing her hands. The only good part of the visit was the gluten-free chocolate muffin, however, I will find out in a couple hours if it was actually GF. I would not visit this place again.
I enjoy coming to this restaurant after a walk for a special treat. Although I have never tried their meal options, their pastries are amazing. They also offer a free water station with cups and straws. The outdoor seating is wonderful, with options for both shade and sun. The MN cookie is a must-try - despite its seemingly conflicting ingredients, it is actually delicious and worth the price. Plus, it is a generous portion size, making it a great value.

First time ever visiting GroundsWell and have lived in Minnesota all my life The Atmosphere is amazing The service was great The staff very friendly and helpful THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING Never knew a Gem was in my backyard!!!! Thanks GroundWell owners and staff WE WILL BE BACK!!!
Found the experience very calm. The cafe was cute and had the cookies and hot chocolate were great! Plenty of outlets to plug in laptops. Staff was very friendly. Such a cute and unique place if your looking for a coffee shop in Saint Paul
Staff was extremely friendly, the building had a very cozy and rusty aesthetic that's perfect for a coffee shop, and the food and coffee was delicious.
The coffee is excellent but a bit expensive. There are various areas for working or socializing. The merchandise is top-notch.
