Place was packed, but nobody talked or looked happy. Not welcomed by the waitress with glasses). We were there between 8:00 and 10:00. He was waiting for order for over 15 minutes. We were skipped with another group that came after us to be waited. Fascinated the older waitress with glasses and told her we were ready. She reacted sarcastically ready for what? It only took us to get food on the table. General food proportions for the price. No staff seemed happy to serve their mosquitoes, let alone their business does not employ any other city from Tillamook to Rockaway has breakfast opened earlier than 9 a.m. Service was terrible: EXTREMELY SLOW and NOT FRIENDLY at all. No wonder they call it Grumpys.
Having breakfast at Grumpy's Cafe this morning in Rockaway Beach was an amazing experience!! The staff was so inviting and the service was second to none. My wife had the Guppy #1. 1 egg, 2 silver dollar pancakes, with a choice side of ham. I ordered the Breakfast sandwich on a croissant, with bacon. Both meals were superb!! The price was lower than I had expected. I definitely would suggest visiting Grumpy's Cafe on your next visit to Rockaway Beach, it is we'll your your time!!!
This place you will have from GRUMPY to HAPPY! Wowza, everything about this place is fantastic. The food is incredibly boiled, and very cheap for the portions you give! Come with an appetite! I had a #1 (the picture with the hand for comparison) and my wife had the #2. You have gluten-free options and wheelchair access! They also have many decorations for all holidays.
This is a lovely dinner with charming staff and carefully prepared cuisine. I liked it so much i bought a hat. There are also 2 round tables with a cool black and white psychedelic pattern on them. Seemed equipped to handle children and their dining requirements as well. Eat here.
