The Buechwäldli Restaurant is a real treat for all the senses! We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and were amazed by the outstanding service and quality of the food. The head of the restaurant is a true genius in the kitchen and conjures up the most delicious dishes on the table. The use of fresh ingredients and attention to detail in preparation is reflected in every bite. The ambience in the Buechwäldli Restaurant is cozy and inviting. This restaurant is located right on the Aegerisee a beautiful lake just 10 minutes from Zug. The food, especially the fish was delicious. However, if you do go here plan at least 2 hours for a meal. Service is extremely slow, even when the restaurant was nowhere near full. We waited 30 minutes for our starter, which was a small salad and then another hour for our main course. This is not a one off as we have tried the restaurant a number of times since the location and he food are really good.

Wir gehen öfters mal ins Buechwäldli essen und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, das hier öfters reklamierte lange Warten hatten wir noch nie erlebt, obschon auch wir meist bei schönem Wetter kommen und draussen essen. Fast immer bestellen wir den Zander im Kartoffelmantel. Der ist schlicht genial! Die vielseitige Weinkarte bietet für jeden etwas; vom regionalen Weisswein bis zum edlen Bordeaux.

Die grosse Vielfalt an Fischen aus einheimischen Gewässern ist einfach genial.Wir hatten an unserem Tisch mehrere verschiedene Menu's ausprobiert.Einfach köstlich!!! Alles war super fein und auf dem Teller sehr schön angerichtet. Kompliment an die Küche!Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich!Wir kommen sicher bald wieder!

We had a nice dinner for my wife's birthday during a beautiful snowfall, had salmon carpaccio (1, shared, delicious as a starter, fondue for 2 (very good , 2 dessert (barely average , 1/2 lt wine, and 1 lt tap water (11CHF, WTH, kidding right? even in Switzerland.. Bill was around 160CHF, hmm

Nicely situated, next to the battle-memorial hill Morgarten with great view. Excellent food with friendly service. The owner is fishing together with his son in the nearby lake to assure fresh fish for his kitchen.

Had a lunch stop at this place with a motor biker group, 10 persons. Sat on the lovely terrace at the see side. Rather high prices and extremely slow service.

Grosse Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Egal was man bestellt, dass Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Service ist sehr freundlich. Ein Restaurant zum weiter empfehlen.

I was in Buechwaeldli a few times and they have very good food. The salad is very good. And usually quality of ingredients and food is top notch.
