This restaurant is conveniently located not far from my workplace. The drinks are great and reasonably priced compared to some other Mexican restaurants across Tara Blvd. The service is consistently friendly, giving it a cozy, family-run vibe. I would definitely recommend this place to others, but I’m a bit hesitant because I don’t want it to become too popular and crowded, so I’m keeping it to myself for now. I don’t have any photos, but it’s one of my favorite spots. I absolutely love the quesadillas here.
Without a doubt, this is some of the best Mexican food in Clayton County! Since my husband and I are new to the area, we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. The service at Monterrey Mexican Restaurant is outstanding! Esteban was not only friendly and attentive, but he also went the extra mile to make our dining experience unforgettable. We will definitely be returning!
Monterey is so petty, they charge a high gratuity, they charge for extra tortillas , they nickel and dime everything you order, it's sad because the African American community support them and they never support our neighborhood, I will never go back here again it was a real mistake to spend a dime here.
I live near N Druid Hills, and I always come here whenever I'm craving delicious food. This place is definitely my favorite! The atmosphere and the food are both fantastic. The drive is absolutely worth it. I always leave satisfied and often have leftovers to take home!
