Tonight was our seventh dinner of the year at Guardado's, and they never fail to impress. Our family's go-to dishes include the pinchitos, mashed potatoes, paella negra, tortilla espanola, and trout. I also recommend trying the sautéed vegetables, NY strip steak, trout, and ending your meal with flan or the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I always leave feeling completely satisfied, but in the best way possible. This place continues to be my favorite restaurant in Maryland, perfect for celebrating birthdays, graduations, or simply enjoying time with family and friends. My first visit to Guardado's was wonderful. I arrived just in time for happy hour, which features both food and drink specials. The sangria was delightful, and the martini had a nice kick! The stuffed peppers and ceviche during happy hour were both delicious and reasonably priced. While a few menu items didn't quite meet my expectations for flavor or authenticity in Spanish cuisine, the excellent service more than compensated for that. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
Oh Tapas, my good Tapas, where art thee? in Guardado?s come look for me? We had the Gambas Al Ajio (sorry no picture here) we ate it too quickly! the brandy adding a nice touch to the fried garlic and olive oil, the grilled salmon on a bed of chopped tomatoes and capers made was done really well, Tilapia in a demi red wine butter sauce, papas fritas?deep fried potatoes with aioli and tomato sauce felt just right and the special of the day, mushrooms stuffed with Shrimp
Sunday dinner with family. Gazpacho was amazing, Caesar salad excellent, and scallops on portabella was great. Vegetarian options: One of our party was vegetarian, she was happy with the options Parking: Parking garage across the street. Free on Sunday evening. Service: Dine in

Good restaurant for conversations. Paella is highly recommended! Fresh seafood with well seasoned rice. We ordered an appetizer and it was quite tasty too ? the lemon juice made the squid a little sour, just can?t stop to have another one!
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for paella, which can be quite difficult to come by in the DMV area! Plus, on Tuesdays, they offer half-priced bottles of wine. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
One of my favorite restaurants in Bethesda, especially Spanish food. Great for catering at home too. Ordered food including paella last year for my birthday and was delicious.
This is a great spot for conversations. The paella comes highly recommended—it's made with fresh seafood and flavorful rice. We also tried an appetizer that was excellent.
