Decided to stop at Guidos at the Hangar in Rosamond (we Live in Santa Clarita and have eaten at the Guido’s out there several times and never had a problem). First of all, I placed the order online, paid for it and was told it would be ready to be picked up in 20 to 25 minutes. As soon as we paid for the order and received a confirmation, we received a second text message saying that, they were busier than usual and our order would now be ready in 35 to 50 minutes. Not really much that you can do after placing the order and paying for it online so we waited the full 50 minutes before our pizza was ready. Had a great birthday lunch today! Purposefully ordered way too much food (2 pastas and a calzone , a salad and 4 appetizers) for just two people! (The pic only shows some dishes) Our favorites: meat lovers calzone, blooming onion, artichoke/spinach dip and cheese dipping bread, and the pesto fettuccine). Everything tasted fantastic and our server, Joseph was the best. Thanks again for making this a memorable birthday! Went back again (January 2025) for another birthday. Hidden gem at Rosamond airport (L00 . We landed and parked right in front of the restaurant. Hubby went in to use the facilities and grab an iced tea. He said the server was friendly and he walked out with these delicious garlic mozzarella balls. Such a treat! We then caught a Lyft (less than 5 min. to Willow Springs raceway only 4 miles away. We're definitely coming back to try more food. Parking: Parked plane right out front, all day, for free. Been a few times and I would not recommend the buffet. The home made pasta is good, but the cost is high. The manicotti is good with the home made pasta, but at $23 not a great value. The Calzone is good and a good value. I will go back again and try another home made pasta dish possibly the lasagna. Parking: Cool to go in daylight as you can watch planes takeoff and land. First time trying there pizza, so good!! Recomended! Also tried there mango ale, great!! My personal favorite the hot wings with garlic fries. Service here is always good and friendly. The view of the mountains and the planes landing and taking off is muchfun!
