my wife and visited the opposite in a nearby hotel. we arrived at 500 pm (open time) without reservation (place was empty) and said we could sit at the bar. my man and I have been coming to the yellow for many years. Before COVID we were regulars weekly. the food was always delicious and well prepared and the staff was friendly and met us. last night we went to dinner for two and the quality of the entrees was not good. I had steak fries and the meat was very fat. I had this court often and it was always slender. the bun of my man was good, but the kartoffels were hard and tasteless and the greens were a soggy hair. they have also stopped supplying bread and butter. they've been rolling now that they can buy. Very few places in this area that cook steaks correctly. This place knows what they are doing. Custom open flame grill. They take the temperature of every steak, so it's always cooked perfectly. They have a great cocktail menu. Ton of local beers on tap, but the ambiance here is what will keep you coming back. The whole restaurant has a big open layout. You can actually watch the chefs cook your food over the open flame grill. The lighting and decor is very tasteful. They even have a big fire place that you can lounge around. Super unique spot right on Williston road with plenty of parking. Perfect place to bring a date.
After trying many times to go to this restaurant,unsuccessfully because of the pandemic, I finally was able to go. Food is pretty good and the bread reminded of my Italian preferred bakeries, but prices are a way too high. I never paid so much for a normal steak, even in top level restaurants, like Hilton in Rome or if I did, it was plenty of other sides. So if you are willing to pay $200-250 per two people, go ahead, but there are other valid alternatives in the area. On arrival my date and I were greeted by the hostess and she was very professional. She led us to the table very quickly and didn't hesitate to have both a waiter and a waitress assist us. The atmosphere was amazing, the music was really great and the food was absolutely delicious...did I mention the place is incredibly beautiful?! The restaurant started to get busy but the staff was on point and delivered with no hesitation whatsoever. My date and I ordered our food and there was little to no wait time. I'd give them a 10 star rating if I could. I'll definitely be back.
dined here on mother’s day, 2022 and had an extraordinary meal! the proportions were all good human, tasty and perfect to order. we had a waitress I wish I remembered her name as she was the best waitress we ever had when she really listened, knew how to engage with the customers and showed sincere characteristics I wished we would meet with any culinary experience. great work, team and keep them the great work and serve the delicious food!

The atmosphere is nice, the service not great. We waited almost an hour for the food. The waitress didn’t even check on us. The beef tartar had no egg and was tasteless. The fish tartar was way too small. Also almost tasteless. The octopus was ok but came cold. Burger was really good. Pasta was mediocre. Overall, overpriced for what was offered. A great place for a bit of an upscale American meal! The cocktails are almost always the highlight for me when I go to the Guild. And the best part is, they are responsible with their meat sourcing, so if you're an ethical meat only kind of person like myself, you'll love it!
