Guinguette De La Plage

Don't hope for a super gastro place... if so..... go somewhere else. It is a place for relaxing, chilling, fun and relaxing. Situated along the only sand beach you can find on the french shore of the lake Leman. A huge sand beach where you can go up to 60 meters walk with water up to yours knees. The restaurant has a lounge, a part for pizza and fast food and a part for sitting. We had 2 different and cultural type of dish..... me...... turkish.... a kebap, my wife a huge burger.. (really good I can say.. surprise for me... kids had their nuggets and sausage. The restaurant makes also typical french meat plate or mussels.... fish from the lake... conclusion.... as good as normal restaurant you can find within cities but there it is next to the lake.... feet in the lake almost... and nice view.. I wish I could put pictures..... but as a 1st comment seems we cannot`??? tripadvisor... help....

Best bit about this restaurant is the stunning views of the lake and mountains. We went there as a mixed family group of 12. Booked in advance and easily accommodated. Great waiter who looked after our needs. Food was straight forward and no options for starters, all came out together and was nice. Table BBQ was a novelty worth having. Would definitely recommend for the view alone.

Looks a bit fast food from the beach but dont be put off. We visited in the evening. The food and service was excellent. A very friendly and attentive lady served us, kept us smiling as well with good humour. Great location and the bill was more than acceptable. Definitely worth a visit

A very nice restaurant on an amazing Excenevex beach. Great for a drink and a snack to relax the time away on Lake Geneva. Also good for a meal in the evening.
