Gulliver's Restaurant

Gullivers is an institution and part of our past at other locations which no longer exist. As we were going to be in the area, we decided to go there for a birthday celebration. The hostess who greeted us could not have been more pleasant, giving us a choice of tables when she seated us. We chose a booth that was nice and quiet. We were immediately brought breads and water. Our server was also very pleasant. We were early diners, so we received our meals quickly. We had asked for pink for our Prime Rib. It was not served that way and was nicely replaced. The only complaint was everything was just lukewarm, at best, including the stuffed potatoes we added on. We didn 't complain further, but...

We 'd not been to Gulliver 's in several years and decided to give it another try. Driving into the parking lot the place looked closed with only few cars around. When we went inside we found only a couple of patrons and not much going on. We were promptly seated, but the vibe was 'dead ' with no background music or ambiance of any kind. Our server was the only positive of the visit. She was most helpful and came around many times to check in with us. I could go on and on, but will stop by saying it 's a sad situation that this restaurant, which was a shining star at one time, has slipped to such a low level. The food was just OK, but for the price there 's so many other options. Unfortunate...

Service was outstanding. The prime rib, creamed corn, Yorkshire pudding and drinks were awesome. Highly recommend Guliver’s.

The staff and service was amazing. The prime rib was so tender and full of flavor. The crab cakes are also an absolute must.
