We ordered on Gumbas online ordering service around 9.05 and was told that delivery was going to be 10.07. This was later updated to 10:17 (which is understandable as it was new years eve . At 10:35 there was no sign of the food so we called to ask for an update. I was put on hold whilst they checked with the kitchen. I was on hold for 10 minutes with no one returning so I hung up and called back...... 'line busy '. I kept trying but all I got was the busy tone. At 10:50 I decided to drive to the restaurant to find out what was going on as they close at 11:00. Authentic food, authentic service, authentic vibes. Food was very inviting to Nepali cuisine. We ordered several dishes, but the chips chilly and chicken momo platter are definitely two items we will be re-ordering on our next visit. The food arrived quickly, with the waiter bringing in dishes minutes after each other so that we could enjoy starters separately from the main. We had a celebratory cake which was brought in at a good time, the staff hooked us up with keeping it in secret for a dear friend. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who’s looking for a place to relax and have some wholesome food, good music played in the background too. 2020 welcoming 1010 food vibes!
If you're looking for great dining experience then stay home, but if you dont mind the wait and the mistatkes the staff make then worth the experience of eating home made Nepalese food. Though I probably wouldn'tgo back I may occasionally order a takeaway of Momo's (steamed dumplings). The food does take a while to cook as it's all made freshl (yes you can tell). They could improve if they had someone to guide them and give them some business acumen in running a restaurant which is a shame , nice people just dont have a clue.

Party of 4 adult 1 child and 1 infant We had no break down on our bill of £84.00 We ordered: 2x cokes £3 2x red glass wine £8 1x tap water free Sadeko aloo 4.50 Mono platter x 16 12.95 Gumba fried rice 8.10 Gumba biryani 8.95 Gumba mix 10.95 £56.45 We we over charged by £27.60 Please could you look at this and reply back within 48hrs Réservez une table maintenant
Food quality was terrible, tasted cheap and it was incredibly oily. Believe me, I eat alot of Indian and Nepalese. I actually threw it away. It was also due for delivery in 45min but it was more than 2 hours late with no heads up from the restaurant and you can't call them because their phone doesn't work. I do not recommend this dive of a place
Worst customer service! Despite being their loyal customer and placing large orders- they never seem to go extra mile to provide basic customer service. We have learnt our lesson and I wish we had not avoided the negative reviews left by customers previously. Be cautious everyone and try to avoid ordering from this place!
