Okay, it's rare that I give a restaurant a five star review, especially when on a first visit. I'm going to go ahead with this, with caveats. The restaurant is well-situated, located at the back of a pleasant atrium, inside a strip mall. There's plenty ofparking, and having the restaurant inside the atrium and not just an outdoor store front gives it added security, betterenvironment control and more of an upscale feel. The inside of the restaurant is comfortable, clean and minimalist, with alarge window into the kitchen area affording customers the opportunity to see the entire prep area of the kitchen. Ok people! This place is a must try place!! Delicious, fresh, and flavorful food. I would give them 10stars if I could, that's how good it is.This is the Island salad and it is to die for. It has strawberries, mango, praline pecans, cranberries and goatcheese (or panela cheese for me) and their vinaigrette dressing...dang it????!! I also had a ciabatta bread turkey sandwich thatI was soo ready to eat that I didnt even take a picture of it???? but it was grilled to perfection. I also had a side of lentilsoup, are you kidding me...super delicious! If you know me you know that I have a palate for good food and this place just hitthat perfect spot in my palate! ???????????? I?ve been here several times and everything Ive tried has been really good and consistent. This time I just got the detox juice for breakfast. I really like the croissant combo, it comes with a really good dipping sauce for the chicken salad sandwich andalso the island salad is really good. I also like the Campesina ciabatta. The inside is nice and clean and theres indoor andoutdoor seating.
I loved it and the prices were good. They accidentally gave me a detox drink instead of my beer juice, but it was okay—I still enjoyed it. The broccoli soup contained walnuts and wasn’t very creamy. Other than that, the food was served quickly.

The Rejia sandwich is absolutely incredible—so tasty! The lentil soup has amazing flavor and is just perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend this meal. The photo only shows half the sandwich, but it’s DELICIOUS!
My fiancé had the creole sandwich and he loved itI've tried it before and it was delish along with the sauce even the drinks are good.
Gumbo's Deli is one of my favorite places to go when I want a feel a bit more healthy and a bit more supportive for local businesses.
Food was fresh, flavor was satisfying, healthy juice, fresh drinks. This deli gets 5 stars. Great job guys!
