Guru India Restaurant

Atmosphere was very laid back. Signs said they were short staffed and to be patient, but you would have never known. We were greeted and seated immediately, with a smile. Our food was delivered quickly. Portions were huge. I love that you can chose your spice level. Ours were spot on for our taste. Babu was charming and very personable. He asked our names and made us feel very welcomed. I would definitely make this a regular dining outing if we lived here.

This establishment has continuously exceeded my expectations for more than a decade. Their cuisine is always a delightful experience and is prepared with expertise and finesse. The owners and staff are warm, friendly courteous people who go out of their way to keep you comfortable and satisfied. Other establishments should take notice and learn what genuine customer service truly means. Thank you for another outstanding experience Guru India!!!

First time trying Indian cuisine so we decided to come here based on the great reviews. We were not disappointed. Babu was a fantastic server and answered all of our questions. The food was fantastic! We both tried the Vegetarian Thal so we got to experience several dishes. Everything was really tasty. My favorite was the mater paneer. We will definitely be putting this place on our regular rotation!

Goat rogan josh was nice and very creamy. Pieces were soft and properly cooked. Papdi chat was too sweet as tamrind chutney was heavily poured. It missed the spicy (green/pudina) chutney. Overall, very expensive. $24 for a Lamb curry is too costly comapred to any other Indian restaurants. Food might take time as they are undestaffed. Still they manage to be very attentive. The taste of the food is good but the amount and the price is a little ridiculous. I know inflation forced places to raise prices but I think they went a little overboard. $50 for two dinner portions that seemed smaller than most Indian restaurants, one bowl of rice, and one naan, and we got water for our drinks.

So amazing! You have to go try this food. They have wonderful vegan options and the spice can go to whatever level you can handle! I was dripping with sweat and loved ever minute of it!
