First time visiting here. I'll start by mentioning the overall design. Exterior was unique from your typical storefront, interior has a cozy atmosphere with Greek and Italian decor and elements. We were first offered bread with 3 different dips. The dips were flavoured hummus(forgot the name), olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and mashed olives and olive oil - all dips tasted amazing(try not to eat too much or you will be too filled for your meal. I ordered the calamari as an app to start - the calamari tasted good. I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter and my boyfriend ordered the gyro platter. Both meals tasted amazing. The only note my boyfriend had was the tomatoes in his gyro pita platte...
Went to Gus and Guidos on Saturday night. We were looking for Caseys and saw this restaurant, we like to try new places so we thought it would be an adventure. We arrive around 9:30pm and the restaurant was quiet. It took quite a few minutes to be seated because there is a hierarchy among the wait staff and they weren't sure who should get us...as in be allocated to their section. Eventually we were seated but the staff were destracted, so it took a while to place drink order, meal order etc. We were told we couldn't have the sides we wanted with our dinner. Then when the food came, it came with what we said we wanted but couldn't have. We were then told there were no potatoes left and that...
Stopped for dinner on a warm Friday night. We sat on the patio which despite being in a parking lot was actually a nice, quiet place to have a meal.Bread with three different dips were delivered to the table, and the bread was fresh and dips were tasty. We started with Saganaki which was delicious, although a little too salty for me.My wife and I split a beef souvlaki platter; greed salid, rice, potatoes and and the beef. Everything was fresh and tasty, although the potatoes were a bit over seasoned and the beef a little over done. However, it was quite good and a terrific value as it truly was enough food for the two of us.Lively atmosphere, good food and fair prices will bring us back!
We bought a Groupon and went for dinner on a Sunday evening. The website said it was $5 martinis on Sundays, but when we got there we were told that was and old ad, but they would honour it anyway, which we thought was very nice of them!! The martinis were yummy!!The food is amazing. Our group had the pita sandwich, the souvlaki, and the chicken poseidon. So delicious and very large portions (we took some to go). The saganaki is worth every penny!!!

Tried this place with a friend who had a coupon. I had a Greek salad with two skewers of chicken and my friend did the meatloaf. I believe. Salad and meat was simple and good. Great for those wanting to eat healthy. Nothing about the experience was overly memorable. Therefore, not a need to return. As long as you follow the rules with coupon they do not give you a hassle to use it. So I can't complain about that!
I received a gift card for Gus and Guidos for ChristmasI was reluctant to go there, as I had read a few bad reviews.I decided to at least give it a try.I can not begin to tell you how much I LOVED my time there.The service was exceptional from the moment I walked in the door.The food was delicious. The portion sizes were amazing.I will definitely be going back.
Bad location, the inside looked very cold and dark, we ate on patio. The food was very poor, the service was just okay. If you appreciate good food with taste than this is not the place.
We ended up here after unsuccessfully being able to go to African Lion Safari after arriving late, and waiting in a long line up.

Exceptionally mediocre food and service, disappointing since it used to be so much better.
This restaurant is superb from the owners right down to the hostess.
