I really want to love this place because it is so close to my home and I really like the aesthetic. I 've been here a dozen times and far more often than not, there 's a problem, sometimes major.To start, my wife and I take walks around town on nice days and have decided on a few occasions to stop in for a beer and or snack. We decided we wanted to sit outside, so we tried to grab a drink at the bar (to walk out with) and weren 't allowed to. They required us to be seated by a waiter. Ok... Fine. I want to start off by saying I hate leaving *bad* reviews. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, so I have high hopes in terms of customer service when entering a new venue. The decor was very cute. Came here specifically for the Christmas menu and aesthetics. The holiday cups were worth it. Food/service/dining experience.. not so much.The reservation was for 8:30 PM. We waited 40 minutes just for someone to take our drink order. After about an hour, I had to get up to fetch two giant glasses of water because no one came to our table. I ended up flagging down another server for assistance. My friend and my boyfriend had no napkins or silverware, so I had to return to yet another male server to request those items. I even pre-bussed the table to try to be helpful.

Called to make a reservation for a party of 6. They said they aren't busy so we don't need a reservation. We mentioned again it was 6 people in about 30 minutes. We were again told it was not a problem. We arrive 20 min later and were told it's an hour wait. Very disappointed in the communication as they made it seem like we would not have any issues with seating.Update. Went at 11pm for a drink with friends. I saw the bar was basically empty. They said we had to wait. Not sure why since not even all the bar seats were taken. Terrible service. Especially for the price.

Went to Gus's for the first time yesterday! The Miracle On Valley Christmas celebration is so fun and festive! The staff was friendly and attentive. The cocktails are fun and creative, the food is bar food but elevated yum! The fact that is it also family friendly is a plus! It's not so quiet, making it the perfect place to bring my toddler who can also not be so quiet! The general manager who is apparently new came around ,introduced himself and made sure everything was to our liking! Looking forward to going back!
I attended the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and chose to sit at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartender took away my food without my permission and accidentally spilled ketchup all over me. Additionally, the bartender who took my order walked away without saying goodbye, and throughout the evening, I overheard the staff discussing their tables. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I won't be returning.
Aaron was our bartender, and he crafted some fantastic drinks for us. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, welcoming us warmly and engaging in great conversation. He truly made our night special.
Very nicely decorated for Christmas. Didn't live up to the hype!
