First time there and service and food were exceptional! My wife and I are from LA and are used to waiters not giving a care about service; Jazmine on the other hand was exceptional with her presentation and smile. She really made an effort to make us all feel welcome and appreciated for our business. When I hesitated on my beer selection she gave a sample of the ones I was interested in. Food was delivered timely and was unique in its taste and side/s. My only recommendation would be to have a little music on patio in the background for ambience but overall a 5-star experience! I dine and take out, I ordered 9 combo dishes for me and my co-workers on Thursday, bought it home and took to work on Friday. I had just shared a meal with a friend on Tuesday there and enjoyed the Catfish and Fries, took a dish of the combo home, oh my goodnes, it was amazing. So I had to shared with my co-workers, two had never had combo before, everyone loved it, now I'm stuck on the Catfish and combo, I'm from Louisiana and the there dishes are never a disappointment. Saw at the bar. The bartenders were great! Really enjoyed my gin and tonic, and probably the best **** Mary's I've ever had. I tried the brick chicken, Cheddar Jalapeños sausage and Brisket. Pages of South Green and Jalapeño cheddar grits. It was amazing. The bride melted in my mouth and the sausage was great. The chicken was okay. Maybe I had built it too much of the description. Great, lively environment with lots of pleasure. I'm definitely back. Waitstaff were great and well worked together.

It is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Claremont! It was my first restaurant I visited in 2021, it was in March when locks were canceled. So I'd come here to get some beer after work. The meals I would order were very delicious. At the same time, the cocktails were well made. The waiters were also helpful and attentive. However, prices were on the expensive side. So I would only recommend a visit to this facility if disposable cash is available. Nevertheless, prices are worth the visit.

For the first time, Gus is with my baby sister on July 4th Independence Day. I was super excited and surprised with the service and the full rack of St. Louis spare ribs and two sides. Customer service was great and my order was ready before the call ever got cold. I recommend Gus' BBQ to everyone who wants the best in town. Everything was a current experience and I am glad that we chose Gus for our holiday meal. Thank you for the great experience and good RIBS.

The Gumbo was very good, so was the Macn cheese. Baked catfish and chips also good. Coleslaw was by far one of the smallest side parts I've ever seen. Service was great and so was the Pecan Bar for Dessert.

Great brisket and sausage. Sweet potato fries are quite good too. Waitress was friendly and attentive.
