We have been dining at Gustavo for years and have always loved it. It has been our go to restaurant for all sorts of occasions. This time was a huge disappointment. Almost every dish we had was EXTREMELY SALTY. The lamb chops and prime rib small plates were close to inedible there was so much salt it was hard to taste anything else. The ribs were fine but the arugula under them was doused with salt. Even the salad was very very salty. We shared about 9 dishes and almost all had the same issue. We adore Gustazo - the food is fantastic, the cocktails are interesting, and the sangria is excellent. However, there are three consistent issues: the noise level is incredibly high, drinks take a long time to arrive (sometimes even after the food), and it can be difficult to get your server's attention due to being overworked. Despite these shortcomings, if you're not in a hurry and just want to relax in a fun atmosphere with delicious food, Gustazo is a great choice!
I’ve never had Cuban food other than Cuban sandwiches so I didn’t know what to expect, but Gustazo’s far exceeded my expectations. I was impressed right away with the decor, but it just kept getting better with delicious cocktails and excellent food. I’d definitely recommend this place.
Gustazo was the ideal place to stop for dinner after a long road trip to Boston. Every small plate we ordered was tasty and creative, and the cocktails were just perfect. I highly recommend it!

This restaurant is way too noisy! Adding some sound-dampening decor would greatly improve the dining experience. Having a conversation here is difficult.
Noise level was unbearable . Food was good, but I would not recommend eating there unless you went at off hours.
