"A very lucky visit as it was the last night they were open before a summer break. Great opportunity to sample local wine and food amongst a very local crowd. A very nice way to end the first day of our walk."

We went after our Rheinsteig stage that dropped us in Lorch. After seeing so many vineyards, we had a serious hankering for some wine. This please was great. Quick facts: We were the only non-locals. The service was friendly and quick. Wine was great and a great value (approx. 10€/bottle). There is outside smoking area and inside non-smoking. Dogs can be outside (there is water/bowls for them). Pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of the small dishes. Ranging from handkäse (type local of cheese to put be on bread) to must-order spring rolls (Frühlingsrollen). Wine can be ordered to go.
