I was very excited to see this place open last year in what was previously a 'cafe desert ' at the northern end of the esplanade, taking advantage of a perfect location to sit, eat and watch the view. The coffee is consistently high standard, and a separate plant based menu makes ordering easy for vegans... Undercover outdoor seating and a pretty steady breeze make it pleasant to sit outside for most of the year (and it 's dog friendly too! . The Vietnamese style crepe and tofu 'huevos ' rancheros are favourite meals... and fresh juices for when it 's too hot for coffee.
I would give this restaurant a solid 5 stars, but unfortunately I can't rate it as such because it's not completely vegan and the Happy Cow app won't let me. We tried the truffle mushroom with vegan feta, avocado on toast with vegan feta, and truffle and tofu toastie, all of which were delicious and nicely presented. The juices were also very good and came in generous portions. The staff was friendly and the service was incredibly fast. As an added bonus, the restaurant is located right by the water and has plenty of (free) parking nearby.
The service at this restaurant is excellent. The food is delicious and caters to both non-vegans and vegans with plenty of choices. The server went above and beyond to make a child's waffle meal special and engaging. I highly recommend trying the vegan truffle toastie. I will definitely be returning to Cairns in the future to dine here again. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience.
I had a great experience at this restaurant with an amazing vegan menu offering a wide variety of options. The dirty chai was fantastic and my favorite was the truffle tofu toastie. All of the food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and there were beautiful waterfront views where you could take a stroll after your meal.

I enjoyed the lovely ocean and beach views from both the indoor and outdoor seating areas. The mushroom toastie was absolutely delicious. It was also surprising to see kangaroo on the menu for the first time at this restaurant.
Even though this restaurant is not completely vegan, it still deserves a high rating for how it can brighten your day.
I had the vegan Good Morning Vietnam dish. It was delicious, and the service was fast and attentive.
