The dish in the picture is the main course, which costs $28 and comes with a salad and a soup that didn't taste authentic. The Katsu was about the size of my hand, while the two Teriyaki fish were even smaller than my palm. By volume, I think I ended up with more cabbage than anything else on my plate. In my opinion, the portions were small. However, since it’s a Japanese restaurant, I’ll give it an average rating. The Katsu was tender, but I noticed it had some burnt bits. Been coming here for at least the past 30 years. It's a bit of nostalgia for me. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the food is always great! I had the tempura teishoku for lunch and for dessert I had the deluxe green tea shaved ice with azuki beans, vanilla ice cream, and snow cap. Sampled a bit from everyone's plate. The pork tonkatsu is thick and tender. I also noted how big the miso butterfish is!! It was probably the size of my hand. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area.

I enjoyed a solid Japanese meal. The sushi felt a bit too compact for my taste. I wish they had offered green tea with the meal instead of at the end. It was a busy evening, but the service was nice. The size of the shave ice has decreased this year. The key lime pie was delightful, but the prices for ice cream and sorbet felt a bit high.

I had better Japanese in much smaller or less well-known restaurants. My experience made me feel quite relaxed. The food didn't measure for what I paid for it. It seems that this place is quite overestimated as my experience went. I would rate it with 2.5 stars because the sushi was good and the atmosphere was good. Réservez une table maintenant

I really enjoy Japanese cuisine, and this restaurant offered a generous portion size! Everything was tasty—while it may not be the best I've ever had, it was still quite good.

Ordered the Tonkatsu it was good pork was really thick, and had one Okinawan sweet potato pie with vanilla ice cream, very good. I was surprised that it was a slow night.

This is just a good local Japanese place for standard Japanese bento style food and some sushi. It's good for crowds. Service can be slow when it's busy. Réservez une table maintenant
