A great Christmas Day Lunch again at the Holland Park Hotel. At $89 per adult, drinks not included, this Christmas lunch is excellent value and there is a plate of lollies and slices on the table when you arrive. The entree and dessert are alternate drop and the main is a generous selection of traditional Christmas fare. Staff are always pleasant and greet everyone warmly. They came around after the main with a platter of meat to see if anyone wanted more. This is a great Christmas lunch venue for just two people or a small family gathering. Not a lot of children this year but very popular and booked out.
We live locally so have lunch here 6-8 weeks. Christmas Eve was usual high quality. Menu is normal pub fare, with meat from the Graziers chain. My partner loves the lunch rump, he's never been disappointed - always cooked to his liking and nice and tender. I usually vary my meal, depending if something on the specials board sounds good. This time I had the Spanish pizza - superb thin and crispy crust, lovely sauce base, lots of pancetta, sweet potato, red onion, cooked perfect and not too much cheese. Awesome!
Regular spot for a good steak. Service was the worst it's ever been tonight. Had to get own menus. Three complaints from others about cutlery and wrong meals. My meal was good. Wife's steak ordered medium well done was like boot leather and was well well well done. A staff member at the bar getting free drinks and with two other males who's every second word was the f bomb. Over all not a great experience.
Went with wife on date night. Meals were nice, size was good and we got what we ordered. Meal price was reasonable. Friday night not to busy. House Chardonnay at $8 a glass was a little steep for a bar price without table service.

Lots to choose from on the menu, quick to get meals and good value for money. The renovations make the place more inviting and comfortable. Have been back a few times!
We enjoyed the food and the waitress was very pleasant.The food was hot and very adequate.We will go again,maybe to try the special seniors lunch.
Maybe we came at a busy time, but the food we had was over cooked, crumbs hard and brown, chips, brown and soft. Could have been so much better.
Meals are reasonably priced and food is ok. Service is excellent. Trivia night on a Thursday night is excellent - free and fun.
