C'était la deuxième semaine de notre «Safari Curry» pour trouver le meilleur restaurant indien de notre quartier. Pour ceux d'entre vous qui le savent, notre hanter régulier est l'essence de l'Inde à Kinross, nous avons donc ce que nous considérons comme une forte référence pour commencer. Alors le Haandi, que pouvons-nous dire? 5 étoiles tout le chemin. Notre première impression du bâtiment et de la décoration était excellente, le personnel (jeune dame a appelé Raj) était agréable, connaissable et attentionné bien que le restaurant était étrange. This was the second week of our 'Curry Safari' to find the best Indian restaurant in our neighbourhood. For those of you that know it, our regular haunt is the Essence Of India in Kinross so we have what we consider a high benchmark to start with. So the Haandi, what can we say? 5 stars all the way. Our first impression of the building and decor was great, the staff (young lady called Raj) was pleasant, knowledgable and attentive although the restaurant was strangely empty. The food was superb and our own proprietary Curry Safari scoring system came in with a whopping 87%. This is going to be hard to beat. Highly recommended. See you there, we will be back for sure.
Les currys ici sont assez géniaux .. Tellement (et je veux dire autant) de choisir! Les pains naan étaient également frais et délicieux. Le personnel était très accueillant et attentif, nous avions une mignon petite sonnette sur notre table pour attirer leur attention que je pensais être assez amusante .. et intelligent! Les prix étaient là-haut pour un restaurant indien, mais vous ne pouvez pas mettre un prix de qualité. De plus, c'est Byo, donc si vous êtes comme moi et aimez quelques Brewski de côté avec votre curry, vous sauverez déjà une pièce de monnaie! Le restaurant, la décoration, l'ambiance allait bien - si je reviens, ça sera probablement à emporter.
The curries here are pretty awesome.. so many (and I mean SO many) to choose from! The naan breads were also fresh and delicious. Staff were very welcoming and attentive, we had a cute little doorbell on our table to get their attention which I thought was pretty fun.. and smart! Prices were up there for an Indian restaurant, but you can't put a price on quality. Plus it's BYO, so if you're like me and love a few brewski's to side with your curry then you're already saving some coin! The restaurant, decor, ambiance was okay - if I come back it will most likely be takeaway.

Je ne peux pas me faufiler cet endroit que j'ai été 5 fois aussi loin et j'avais aussi quelques emporter. Le restaurant est bien aménagé et très agréable à manger. La nourriture est raisonnable et magnifique. Nous avons essayé les madras, Tikki Masala, le poulet au beurre, le curry de Haandi et ils ont toutes été de qualité supérieure. Les Naans sont charmants et non trop cuits et il y a toujours assez pour tout le monde. En outre, ils vous donnent une carte de réduction qui est une bonne touche.
Went there for curry with friends last Saturday we had the tasting plate, not too bad, onion bhaji was flat and when you cut into it grease oozed out. Most of the dishes were not really hot as temperature and looked like they had been sitting in their bowls for a while in fact one of the chicken dishes had a skin forming and needed to be stirred to make it look appetising. The garlic naan bread was also greasy and flat. All in all very disappointing and a waste of money.

I can't fault this place I have been 5 times so far and also had a few take aways. The resturant is well laid out and very nice to eat in. The food is reasonable priced and gorgeous. We have tried the madras, tikki masala, butter chicken, haandi curry and they have all been top quality. The naans are lovely and not over cooked and there is always enough for everybody. Also they give you a discount card which is a nice touch.

Struggle to find a decent take away curry sometimes but this place is too good!
