Horrendous customer service RUDE Had the most unwelcoming visit to this Hadfields I have ever experienced whoever the lady is with dark hair needs training in customer service as she doesn’t even have the basics down to say a simple hello or smile so miserable and rude. Needless to say I will not be visiting ever again as the service was appalling and the food wasn’t much better bland lack of choice. Not helpful at all, needless to say she was the final nail in the coffin after a few prior visits as a last resort living so close needing a quick lunch I would rather chew my tongue. Because it was convenient seems to be the only explanation as to why I go to this place however, its been too many disappointing visits now i will throw in the towel and rather starve. I got the cheese and onion quiche and a custard slice. Wow the quiche if I had to bite a egg custard and the quiche at the same time there would be no conflicting flavours wheres the cheese? is it off on holiday, has the onion joined it too? Shocking. The custard slice well custard consistency very good and flavour was there however the pastry itself was very overcooked. Sadly I won't return.
We used to be regular customers at this restaurant for years, as there weren't many options for work lunches in the area. On my most recent visit, I ordered a salad like I usually do, but was disappointed to find moldy cheese and bugs in it. There were about 5-6 aphids at the bottom of my salad, which I definitely did not ask for as extra protein.

Staff rude, left me waiting 5 minutes came out as I left, went back in and they served someone who went in front of me going back in instead. Never using them again, they obviously don't need my money.
The place is nice food is nice but there’s one lady who works there that is so rude and I’m sure has overcharged me in the past and is two faced I no longer like getting sandwiches here because of her
Charged £4.10 for a roast ham salad sandwich. Which, after checking, isn't the price. Young girl had to leave me outside the shop to go and buy butter, pop and a magazine? This was milnsbrudge branch.
Went yesterday had a beautiful ham salad so much filling, friendly staff so chatty and helpful with options def be back... The teacakes were so fresh,
