I always good out to have a good time. Check out my other reviews. They 're nearly always positive. Tonight was very different. My wife a booked a table for dinner and, as soon as we walked in (I think it was) the manager told us...there was no food. When I told her we 'd booked a table for dinner, she said something about a large group of people turning up and could only cook a very limited choice of meals and walked off, no apology or telling us where we could sit. Ordering at the bar, the choice was burger or scampi and chips or ploughmans, not even ham, egg and chips. Getting ham out the fridge and frying an egg must have been too much. Unfortunately, the day we were 3 employees sick and the people had entered to help. we were a big table and the feeling we were forgetting/just left to him all the staff were very friendly and nice, but the service was very. that we had not been getting any more information on the arrival, that there was a personal deficiency and there could be some delays it brought us an hour our bottle wein first drink) when it arrived, it was wrong, I informed them and got another bottle of the same nice back, then after another 15 minutes and I was looking for staff not they coming to me) I will try again, and hope only that this was one of me, I feel that if it really busy or short workers just say, cu...

My wife and I visited a restaurant to book a table for a large group of rival football fans, only to discover that the popular Wednesday carvery has been discontinued. We used to enjoy having the carvery during the week as the Sunday one was always busy, so it was a nice change of pace. We were disappointed to see such a successful offering changed. However, we still enjoyed our lunch with tasty burgers and well-cooked fish and chips. The replacement beer, Jute, was not to our liking. The service was friendly and efficient, with waitresses Cerrie and Nicola. they have visited and enjoyed a beautiful meal. this visit was a disappointment. eating was not very hot. we had carvery. No one came to take our order, so we had to ask for a long wait. No one came to check what was in order. or if we needed more drinks. After the closure of our main meal we were not asked if we would like a desert, tee or coffee. So we decided not to disturb and go home. we asked for the bill. bill number 1 wasn't our bill. bill number 2 was ours, but coffee was added. So we had to ask them to be removed. The restaurant is situated in a lovely location by the Thames in a quaint village. It is a modern, spacious pub/restaurant with easy access to walking routes. There is a large car park and grounds. The interior design is contemporary and the outdoor seating area is well-equipped. Although the Sunday lunch menu looked appealing, I did not have a chance to try it. However, I felt that the staff exhibited a somewhat indifferent attitude, which was a bit unusual.

Our thanks to all at the Rose Revived, we held a wake for Bruce Hellier on Friday 9th September. The staff here couldn’t be more helpful, everything ran so smoothly in a day of tears, laughter and memories. You folks only added to the memories...we will have of the day. for a lunch for a few friends for a pick up. I've never done a tripadvisor before, like it wasn't like I shared my mind. However, I could not mistake the service that was given. good atmosphere good eating friendly staff can not ask for much more...thanks that, in any case will return

We stopped by for dinner in the evening. The menu was simple, offering typical pub food options. Unfortunately, the food we ordered had been overcooked in the fryer. The restaurant has a beautiful garden and atmosphere for drinks, but I would not recommend it for a meal. Réservez une table maintenant

Not too bad food,carvery chef and at all good didn't seen to have any interest in his job Had to wait while they found him Website even now says cavery 12.95 but was in fact 13.95 All places I have visited lately need to train...staff better

for Sunday dinner. had dared. one of the best I ever had. beautiful meat super sweet and massive portions. a wonderful brownie for gloomy all in beautiful surroundings and really nice staff. I'll go back soon.
