Haidilao Hot Pot Century City

We have been loyal customers of Haidilao for a long time and have always enjoyed our visits, including at this location. However, today's experience compels me to give a 1-star rating due to the conduct of the reception host, Curtis, which I found to be unprofessional and discriminatory.Upon arriving and checking in at the front desk, we patiently waited to be seated. To our dismay, Curtis seemed to overlook us and instead, seated two other groups that arrived after us. First time trying hot pot, and it was delicious! I treated myself and my friend for her birthday. It can get pricy quickly, so beware. Touch screen tablet ordering. Probably the best part besides the food would be the robot who brings the food to the table!! So polite too! I love eating hot pot. We were at Haidilao in Taipei a couple of weeks ago for my daughter and my birthday. Now we are back in LA area, we came here for lunch, and the meats and vegetables are good but not as good as the ones we had in Taipei. The service here in states is okay..... no complaints. But the best service so far is the one in Taipei, the server we had cooked for us throughout the whole time, but some people prefer to cook for themselves. I wish they would offer the same service here, too.

What's there not to love? They don't seem to have as many free perks/treats as some of the other locations but in fairness, this is a US location, which is no doubt worse than the China ones. It is what it is, if you're done shopping in Century City, this is a great pit stop for some authentic Chinese hotpot. Réservez une table maintenant

Food was delicious. Do keep in mind that i gets expensive quick since each portion of meats/veggies that are brought out are small. I had to order two orders of each meat just so my party of 5 could get full and even then we left not full for a total of 115$. BEWARE— not all you can

I love hotpot and whenever I am craving, I go to Haidilao Hot Pot in Century City, they have a big place, nice atmosphere and the service crew are excellent!
