The food was ordinary, slightly too salty, not real Hakka food, it tastes like any other Asian food so you are better off heading to an authentic Chinese restaurant for authentic Asian food. We were served by a grumpy waitress who did not speak English. Our last dish (Beef pot with Chinese Vermicelli) did not arrive even after we finished all of our other dishes. The 1st time we asked about it, the waitress said it was still cooking. Our dish still had not arrived so we asked a 2nd time and they realised they forgot about it. Visited this restaurant on the week of the grand opening. Happy to see there is so many varieties of Chinese cuisine arrived in Brisbane. Set-up is nice and did not see any chaotic service as ususally may happen in Chinese restaurants within the first week of opening. The hugh central space reserved for large group of party is good idea to attract family gathering such as Birthday Party. Although foods are not as authentic as what I expected a Hakka style should be, they are tastful and acceptable. We ordered the eggplant with intestines, pork lotus soup. The eggplant was acceptable just a tad too oily and salty. But the disappointing thing was the soup not only did it take forever to come out but it was sitting on the kitchen bench for a good 5mins before anyone bothered bringing it to us. We did order a kailan dish too. Not only was chopped really badly but it lacked any garlic flavour. It was mostly stems. The soup was so bland it was like drinking msg + water with some frozen cut lotus and dry tasting bland pork.
Service was super slow they really need more people on a sunday.

We sampled a few dishes that we thought would be authentic Hakka. Some worked and some are just not quite there.. Possibly their stir fries are better. We enjoyed the Hakka pork, squid with veg very much. Nice atmospheres and service. While the coffin bread was impressive to look. But we wouldn't finish it. Might come back to try other dishes. The drinks must be good. They ran out of toppings for the drink early in the evening

The Taiwanese style breakfast is pretty good here and cheap! We ordered the soy milk, congee, dough stick pancake and pork floss pancake. The pancakes were fresh.
There's lots to choose from for breakfast. I really enjoy the comforting warm liquids and crunchy dough sticks and pancakes. Give it a try I reckon from 7-11am.

We thought the food here was quite OK, however it tended to be a tad oily for our tastes. The spiced cauliflour was tasty, but too much oil for me. Very tasteful and quick service. This is a Taiwanese restaurant and provide quality food. Clean dinning area and grest Service. Love it.

Very quick service - very helpful. Spicy food just how I like it. Very accomodating to our toddler as well. And very big serves! Me & my husband were pleased

Service was quite average. But food was quite delcious!!! :) Prices are pretty good for the portions served. Tea's and rices are separately priced.
They have changed menu or maybe changed management too. Not too many options , the food is so so but very cheap . It was much better before?
